“We are two disabled senior citizens who enjoy the call in and curbside pick up. We cannot lift anything and they are so accommodating there when you are at curbside simply call and tell them you were there and before you can blink they are putting all your purchases In your car at no charge. The owner is fabulous and always a gentleman to deal with when looking for something special. And the sales people who bring out your items are always accommodating and pleasant we would never go anywhere else! ?? ????”
“Nice place with a selection of essentials and fun items. Some stuff I wouldn't buy for 5 dollars, the store doesn't stay true to its name as it once did before. But I would admit it's a good staple to get somewhat decent stuff. Cool neat stuff in here though, especially for college students. Very glad they got some collectible items in there too.”
“Was pretty blown away by how much selection they had for guys. Prices easily better then Walmarts and while not everything is going to be up your alley they have a lot of quality clothes and unique picks. As a guy you'll want to buy a size smaller then you normally are nine times out of ten.”
“If you're on a budget, it definitely does not hurt to check this store out. They constantly change their stock and you find some awesome items at a cheap price. I like going there for the candy! You get king size ones for ¢.89 you can not beat it. They take cash and to use your c.c is a minimum of $5.I gave them 4 starts because sometimes the place has a funky smell but I think it's because it's not very well ventilated.”

It's first come first serve, kind of like a TJ Maxx with non high end/popular brands, but whatever, they still have cute stuff and a LOT of it! Check them out if you haven't, I BET you find atleast 1 thing in there you buy!Clothes, shoes, makeup, bath stuff, bathroom stuff, some furniture, pet supplies, kids stuff, car stuff, snacks, electronics and accessories... “I was so happy to find a Dollar Store on the boardwalk where most things were actually $1 (plus tax). Flip flops were $2 but that’s still ok. They also had shower caps, toothpaste, pretty much anything u might have forgotten to bring to the hotel. I only bought a cpl things so didn’t need to pay for a shopping bag, but even if I did need to pay the 5 or 10 cents, I wouldn’t have minded since they weren’t gouging me on the items I needed.”
“The store is clean and the staff are always friendly. Inventory rotates pretty regularly too. Some bargains are better than others, but that's dependent on a lot of variables so you have to keep your eyes open.”
“Stopped in today for some Father’s Day balloons. The only employee was very helpful and friendly. The store was very busy and he was handling all the customers politely. Turned out he is the manager, would definitely shop here again.”

“There’s a girl that works at this dollar store, she is a cashier she is so sweet, pleasant, and very well spoken. whenever I come to this store it’s a major relief seeing her because she has such calming and sweet energy, it’s very angelic. “This is a brand new store. Nice ,clean,helpful. It gets the name brand stuff sold out quicker being in the location it's at. Downside,when you go for a particular item they could be out. But on the plus side being newer and the inventory moves faster you don't have to worry about expired products because of the fast refill stock time.”

The mess in the aisles isn't too bad but I know all DGs are understaffed so a bit of mess is to be expected. The staff I see at this DG are always multitasking between stocking and assisting customers. ?”
“I walked around to take a look, I picked up a few things, but when I got to the register, I asked a hair tool. The cashier didn't think that they had it, but asked the floor staff who quickly brought it to the register.”

“This store is great if you're a local, as AC is a vast food desert and this store probably serves as a supermarket to many people. I'm a local and shop here 2-3 X's/week, for staples primarily.If you're a tourist, covered with oil, it's a great place to buy all your junk food and soda pop.The prices are very reasonable, considering the economy and the fact that this store suffers massive losses from theft.They even have an in-store system that camera-monitors and announces, LOUDLY, that they are watching you and will contact the coppers if you don't put back that candy bar.I have been in this jewel-of-a-dump when cretins have done grab-and-runs and homeless are everywhere around the store.The store is frequently poorly-stocked and the aisles can be a congested mess with boxes all over the place.One major gripe is that the store shuts down, no notice, 1-2/month; sometimes for days. Signs say, "due to cash register problems."The problems are many--they can't stock the store fast enough, so shelves are frequently empty; high employee turnover, which I completely understand. Working in this store, you're putting your life on the line, literally.AC is a crime-ridden mess and this store is mid-mess. I commend anyone who works in this store.I have never had any problem, at all, with any employees in this store and I have shopped there since this store opened ~2 years ago.”

“One of the best stores in Atlantic City NJ. Great as well if you're celebrating a day at the beach, holidays, movie nights, dates, etc. The prices are fantastic, the staff are fantastic, and the store has a beautiful and very large inventory to choose from. Parking is nearby, the store has proper surveillance, and there's plenty of carts to choose from.”
