I never leave reviews, but i would rate less than one star if possible. Seeing the other reviews left me feeling so justified regarding how awful our experience was. I was heavily considering purchasing a bag here, when my boyfriend (who is 25) was respectfully looking at their novelty candy selection. The only other person in there, the woman everyone is mentioning, came over and insinuated my boyfriend removed the seal on a tin candy holder he was holding and blamed him for her inability to sell the item. My adult partner did not open her candy, and based on these reviews, I’m sure their reputation ruined the ability to sell it regardless. Avoid this place and the blonde saleswoman’s juvenile behavior.

As bad as everyone in the reviews say. Owner follows you around, political messaging everywhere in what is supposed to be a "celebrity" store, and the place smelled like the owner smokes cigarettes inside.

As soon as I walked in, I was the only person there. Not sure if the woman is the owner. I never had a horrible experience in this store. I was there for a particular band and I knew they would have it. I was excited to purchase. You need to look through sizes and I was in the process. The woman comes over and starts harassing me when I was just looking. She immediately is saying “we don’t have those sizes” the way I was searching she didn’t like as I knew to put things back nicely. Woman should be smart enough that sizes are L/XL on the bottom. She was not meant for customer service or needs a lot of training. I literally ran out of the store I was uncomfortable

Great store horrible women probably the owner working here. They followed us around and I gave my 80 year old mother a bag to hold and she took it away from her while I continued to shop? She was afraid of what I'm not sure but looking at other reviews I hope she thinks about how she is treating her customers. ???I will not return.

Visited this store this past weekend with my daughters and my 6 grandchildren. We were fascinated with the merchandise and were shopping for unique Secret Santa gifts. The salesperson followed us around like we were a band of thieves. My 15 year old grandson picked up a lunchbox to purchase and continued to browse for other purchases the woman grabbed it out of his hand and made a remark about him walking around holding it. She rudely snapped at my granddaughter when she touched something on display. I was so uncomfortable with the situation I took my family and left the store. When we were leaving she commented “so you weren’t in here to buy anything.” I went back in the store and confronted the woman about her rudeness and how uncomfortable she made me feel and she pretty much blew me off. Other customers in the store stopped me on the way out and thanked me for saying something. Fortunately for us we were able to find the items that we were going to buy in Amazon and they were a little cheaper too. Will never go I. That store again!

Place deserves 0 stars… 1 is too many. The person that works here, possibly owner, couldn’t have been more rude to my child, on Thanksgiving no less. The other reviews establish that this is a trend and not a one-off.

This was the worst store to visit. They were not friendly and actually straight up ignored my whole entire family. At that point we put everything back and didn’t buy anything. The political items in the shop made us all uncomfortable as well.

We came in as my friend loves this type of stuff. We were having a very nice day shopping and browsing the shops. We were talking laughing and enjoying good conversation when (the owner?) pretty much told us to knock it off or get out. We are sophisticated professional adults. Just because they are miserable don't treat others so poorly. We immediately left. Too bad for them because my friend would made a purchase. Their loss due to their attitude. They should not have a business dealing with the public. Wish negative stars was an option.

If I could give ZERO stars, I would. My family and I went Saturday afternoon and my daughter and son(19 and 16) were looking at rock t shirts. My daughter took one out to see the design and size and some old raggedy lady flies from across the store to my daughter, takes the shirt out of her hand and says “if you need a size let me know”… I was like hmm. That was weird. She walked away. My son then takes a shirt to see how big it was, as some sizes run smaller and this whack job crazy old lady runs from the other side of the store AGAIN to where my son was and did the same thing. Took the shirt and told him to let her know what size he wanted.By now, I’m done. I said loudly, put the stuff down and we will go to the other rock store where sales people aren’t as annoying as this. And with that we left. Rude. Rude. Rude. When you shop, most people will look at the clothing and fold it back up. This crazy spinster was off her rocker. I should’ve read the reviews before going in. They should close down. Either that or put the crazy old lady from “Legion”, back in her miserable senior community where she belongs.

My granddaughter was in this store and she said they were very rude to her. She bought a shirt only because she was afraid not too. I wish I would have been with her. Smithville should close thus store down.

Great selection and friendly and helpful service. They have a large selection of memorabilia, including rock stars, movies and everything in between. This store is definitely worth a visit when you are in Smithville.

I walked into the store and at first Felt very welcome and loved the merchandise. I was with my 7 and 11 year old. When I went to pay I made a comment about Trump (in favor). The nasty woman loudly started she didn't own the store, she hated Trump and she hopes he goes to jail. Despite what I would have liked to have said I composed myself (because we are adults right??). I answered her politely and said "sorry we don't feel that way o well". And in front of my kids and everyone else in the store this crazy woman stared yelling at me with hate. I have no problem with anyone who has a different point of view but to be rude and trashy is horrible. Especially for someone who represents a store and trying to sell merchandise. I will never return to this store and do not feel safe with my kids in this environment. No idea how the owner condones this.
