I have been a Santander customer for over 25 years. I've always have great experiences at the Schanck Road branch at the drive thru or in the lobby. The tellers are always friendly and pleasant. They are quick with my transactions and I've never had an issue. I will continue to bank with Santander as long as I can.

The supervisor was a nasty woman that could have been the most useless human that I have ever had the experience of meeting. She literally offered no alternatives to helping solve an issue my elderly grandmother was having. As I tried to help she was reprimanding me like a child that I couldn't help her. Show some compassion for someone who cannot speak English so well.

Horrible customer service or should I say lack there of! 1 star is too high. Rude employees who just don't care and have zero customer service! I've never seen a bank not care even a little bit for its customer- especially one that has a very large amount of money with them! I'll be closing all my accounts and moving to a bank that knows how to treat customers! Shame on this branch because I'll be closing all my accounts, my husband's accounts and my 4 custodial accounts! All I wanted was 10 thousand dollars and I was told i had to wait till the end of the week!!!??? Nope not keeping money here any longer. Congrats Santander you've lost a big customer today!

Given the rude and nasty, superiority attitude displayed by the bank manager, while I was helping my friend attend to her banking, I wouldn't even give this branch office a one star rating! My friend , a long-term customer was treated without respect or dignity. The bank manager's unkind tone of voice and unprofessional behavior was unacceptable. She devalued my friend and was demeaning throughout our attempt to complete simple banking transactions. I have never seen or encountered such a horrid banking experience! Surely Santander can provide its customers with thoughtful and caring customer service...I would encourage them to reconsider who represents their banking policy.

The Schank Road Santander is the worst bank I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. The manager refused to give name and I had to resort to filing a complaint with NJ Banking and Insurance. Apparently there was a glitch and a double withdrawal was made, but the manager was unprofessional and rude. I guess the bank is happy to have incompetent employees, and it reflects upon the entire entity. I'll be banking elsewhere and anyone considering doing business with them should take a pass.

Tried to set up a c.d. Was told to come back a week from now and it'll take about an hour .. not a soul was in the bank at the time .. worker was walking around doing nothing . went to branch in manalapan done same day quicker than expected .

Started out great because I was greeted with one step in the door. Which made me feel welcome. Except after me presenting my deposit, I was promptly informed that in order to complete my transaction, I needed to remove my sunglasses! It's bank policy! I informed her that these are my glasses to see.then I felt interrogated from there, like she was displeased with me not complying with my glasses being removed. Do I have a atm card? You know your soon gonna be unable to make dep onside! Is this your account? So I loose it on her & tell her to just deposit my check! Over comes a customer service big wig who makes me relive my interrogation all over again. It gets better! The bank manager button in & wants to take me to the door to read the sign! Really! I need to remove the only glasses I need to see to MAKE A DEPOSIT! This bank should get no stars for making my banking experience not welcoming, but making me feel like another bank deserves my accounts!

Quite possibly the worst branch of this bank I have ever been to. Do not come here go to the Howell location. The manager is not a good person and gets reviews taken down.

Carmen A is the worst bank manager I have ever had the displeasure of interacting with. She treated me like I was a lower class individual and gave me attitude that I have never encountered at a Santander branch before. When other employees attempted to help me this manager actively looked over their shoulders at my information and then proceeded to stop the employees from assisting me. She demanded I leave the premises when one of the employees was in the middle of helping me with a withdrawal. She threatened to call the police just because she wanted to assert her authority as bank manager. A truly vile individual and I urge people of color to never do business at this branch.

Very professional , and Courteous. Never a problem with this bank understanding simple requests. Congratulations to the competent staff. I no longer waste my time with the park ave location. Too many bad reviews, including mine.

Went to the Schanck Rd. Branch. I tried to use the drive thru but after waiting 10 minutes I gave up and drove into the parking area and entered the bank. The teller said they were short an employee but as I looked around I saw people at their desks doing nothing. I'm Glad I don't have to go there to often. I think Santander should send their employees to TD Vank to learn how to service customers.
