I recently had to go to Safelite to get my windshield replaced. I was so upset that I had to get this done and it wasn't something that could be repaired. When I walked in, I was greeted by Jason and he was pleasant and friendly. He answered all of my questions and was very understanding when he saw I was upset about needing this done. Michael was the Tech that did the replacement and he was just as nice and did a great job. He was able to transfer my inspection sticker to the new window which was great. He gave me full instructions on what to do/not to do for the next few days. It was a pleasant experience for an unpleasant situation. They have a great team in the Freehold location. Hopefully I won't need their services again but if I do, they will be the go to spot for me.

I’m writing this review as today’s evidence. We had a small chip and now I can visually see the crack is bigger now after the chip repair! I brought it to the service guy attention that the crack looks bigger now. His response was the machine put pressure on the glass and he was watching it the whole time and he claims that it didn’t mess up the glass. So you just have to trust his eyes. ? he also said that if I wasn’t happy with service to go in and schedule for a full replacement! With the office. And of course that will have to be out of my pocket. Moral of story is that I wish I never wouldn’t come here! I usually don’t follow reviews but guess what now that I read them and went through it. You better believe it! I’m attaching photos and if it continues to spread you better believe I will be back and I will not be paying!

Great experience of replacing a windshield. Very smooth process. Staff is very respectful, polite to explain you everything.

They took a small 1 inch chip and made it into 10+ inch crack. No warning beforehand, instead they choose to shroud it in some fine print. If I knew they could mess up this bad I would have never even came in, I would have just repaired it myself. In the 10 minutes I was inside, they told every customer that walked up to the counter that they needed a replacement windshield. I would not recommend or trust these guys to fix your windshield. It's about 1000 to replace the windshield now and they did nothing to try to make the situation right.

Repairs are insufficient. Windshield had a chip in the windshield and looked exactly the same after the so-called repair. Customer service is horrible.

Safelite was fine. They made the process easy by handling all the insurance paperwork for me. However, they were unable to save my registration and oil change stickers. They also took hours longer than was initially quoted. Likewise, they didn't properly reattach my driver's side windshield wiper blade which proceeded to become detached and fly down the Garden State Parkway during a terrible storm. On top of that, when I went to go replace the windshield wiper blade, I found they had left multiple rusty razor blades at the base of my windshield. Fortunately I saw it before I sliced my finger on a rusty blade. Safelite got the basic parts of the job done but it was neither safe nor light.

Mr. Jason and team Thank you for the great service
My windshield was damaged due to a rock hitting it and Safelite fixed it within 2 hours or less . Thank you to Mr.Jason, he was a great help since the moment I arrived until I left the place thank you for everything very nice person and thank you for helping me with my balance questions

Install of windshield was good, had no problem. Paid to have wipers replaced, after 1 week when it was raining left side wiper flew off, need better quality wipers

Took my wife’s car here a few weeks ago. I had an all day appointment and they did their best to get me out sooner than later. Great customer service.

Had an appointment scheduled but Friday, nobody called or ever showed up. Took it upon themselves to reschedule for Monday without contacting us until they were on their way. Had a coupon applied to my original appointment that did not transfer over to the new appointment so the cost was more than it should have been and the tech could not correct. Left multiple messages/complaints with customer services since you cannot directly contact the local store and still have not been contacted by anyone.

Large rock hit my windshield and made a large crack. Brought it to Freehold location today Safelite my Jeep Gladiator. Im very happy with the replacement work and my new windshield. The technician was very thorough, fast and neat. I was out of the shop in about 1 hour!
I could tell tech takes pride in his work and craft. He even took the registration sticker and oil change sticker from the old glass and transfered them onto the new glass neater than they were. I hated when New Jersey DMV put my registration sticker on crooked and slanted, it was annoying me for the longest!
The Safelite tech put the stickers back on the new windshield nice straight and neat! It's the little things like that a customer notices and appreciates! that's how I know he takes pride in being neat and thorough Thank you for a great job!
