I had an appointment with Vetco and they were wonderful to deal with, however whoever I booked the appointment with they did not tell me I needed to bring my dogs medical records. I then had to reach out to my Vet's office and wait for them to email me the records to show the vet in order to get the rabies vaccine.

Beware the backlash - every trend inevitably mints one. Don't go online, shop local, keep the brick and mortar retailers viable so says the smart crowd over cocktails and hoarded martini olives. Unfortunately, I have to feed my cat and Petco can't seem to stock even a rudimentary supply of the brands he prefers (Sheeba and Nutro) leaving Soviet-style empty shelving in their wake. While I would prefer not to support the Amazonian death star, they always have cartons of this slop on my doorstep the next day. I suspect Alvin applauds my decision. All Petco will ever say across the five stores I visited is that there was a "shipping mishap" - at least all of their employees seem to have read their PR release. The simple fact is they can't get these brands from the manufacturer or they can't get it from their distribution centers to their stores. A little honesty instead of a well choreographed BS story might have helped. If all else fails they can always order it from Amazon. My intent was to bestow five stars, but the last three got lost in shipping. I hate when that happens.

This Petco may be one of the best Petcos I've been to. The store is clean, and has great products. The store is a good size, and has great prices. There are good deals here too, and there is something for every pet here! I like that I do get to save money here, as it seemed like everything is mostly under $20. It's very easy to walk in the aisles, and not crowd with other people. I've had that issue with many other Petcos, but everything is well organized, and the store is marked well! The reason it loses a star is it's hard to find staff to help you, and they are quite understaffed! However, I did like this Petco overall!

Great staff, super friendly and knowledgeable. I buy a lot of saltwater fish,corals,n equipment from here. Devon is a walking saltwater encyclopedia!

A very disturbing visit to Petco in Freehold NJ today...the cats are in cages with litter boxes that are overflowing with feces.....tried speaking to management who are unconcerned and very unhelpful...shame on Petco for allowing these unhealthy conditions.....will be going to Petsmart from now on....

Walked in late tonight with my dog hunter. We had a collar that was bleeding the color onto his fur. The manager , Devin and Gina had me set up with a new one free of charge in minutes. Super easy exchange and they were very sweet to talk too. Everyone working there had upbeat personalities! It was such a joy !

Its a pet store. Its not super clean but its not dirty either. Their selection is pretty good on pet foods, accessories, and meds. They have fish, birds, and the occasional reptile. They also have dog adoptions here with some pretty awesome puppies. Their prices aren't great but they tend to be a little cheaper than PetSmart across Rt. 9. They also have a groomer here however I have never used them.
