Me and my fiancé bought our first how and Dawn was my go to girl throughout the whole process. I had endless questions and what to do and what was next. She was very patient and had no issues answering any questions we had. She was also available at any given call. Best experience! Steve came in at the end and made sure we had everything for the closing neat and checked off! Thank you for all the help through such a big financial step in our lives! Highly recommend!

Worst. They dropped the ball and never ordered my second appraisal after the first order sent an unqualified appraiser. By the time they realized their error, it was too late. The deal was in “time is of the essence” and I had to go to a hard money lender or lose the deal. Lost over $15k due to their incompetence. Check the Yelp reviews, you’ll see more reviews telling the exact same story. Beware.ATTENTION READERS: Patriot has two Google and Yelp listings! One located in Freehold and one located in Eatontown. Look at reviews for both locations (even though in reality there is only one location). You will find that they’ve tried to hide stories like mine by changing their listing.Response to the owner: Original closing date June 10. First appraiser was unqualified (in April). Come mid June when I inquired about another appraisal, I got the runaround from Bill Carucci. I called Class Valuation myself and was told by their representative that Patriot Mortgage had canceled the appraisal and never ordered another. When I relayed this message to Bill, I was scolded like a child for calling the appraisal company myself. However, my call prompted Mr. Carucci to “remember” the ballhad been dropped. Once another appraisal was ordered, it was completed June 30 and delivered July 8. There were some issues with the appraisal that we didn’t have time work through due to time is of the essence. We were already 30 days past original closing and the seller was impatient. I would have lost my deal due to your incompetence had I not gotten a hard money loan costing me an extra $15k. You state my loan was not able to be funded due to FHA, but I have a letter from Patriot stating that I was approved for funding but declined accepting it. You are all a bunch of liars. I guess your big money deals were treated with greater importance than my small $200k loan. Shame on all of you. This isn’t the last you’ll be hearing from me.

I've bought and sold homes numerous times and also worked in the mortgage banking industry. My loan closed with Patriot mortgage faster than I've ever closed before. I also appreciated that everyone in the process from the originator to the processor to the underwriter was responsive and accessible at first attempt most all of the time. Additionally the team has great ties to the community and was able to provide recommendations for attorney and title and other services when needed. I have and will continue to recommend Patriot mortgage. They are great people and do great work.
