Incompetent rep at this locations swapped my broken modem with another broken modem. I asked him if it was new or refurbished and he point blank told me it was new. When I went home and opened it there were scratches all over and we were without internet for 2 days because the replacement modem was also bad.Dude, what's wrong with you? Are you trained to lie or is that just how valueless and deceitful Optimum is? Shame on you people. Unethical fraudsters

Everyone has a story about going to the cable company office. Now I've got a good one since visiting the Freehold location. I was greeted cheerfully and immediately had a rep pulling up acct. info. so I could return a TV box for my Dad. Literally 5 minutes later I was saying thanks and goodbye,and had info on new cell service in hand. Employees all looked happy to be there and were pleasant. I didn't see a single disgruntled customer,which is unusual at a cable service office. Optimum seems to be trying hard to make clients happy, or at least not unhappy. Thumbs up!

Worst experience I’ve ever had at a cable company. They tell you they will call you back. They do not. They tell you they will prorate they do not. They even gave us a prorated price on the phone.The front desk person threw the cable box in a pile you could hear in the other room and had zero customer service skills. Not a good look. No wonder why people are switching to streaming.

My experience here was great. I was helped by Falon. She was so patient and sweet and knew exactly what she was doing. She did everything she could to help me and sped up my process of getting a new phone. I thought Falon was a manager based on her wonderful assistance….she should be considered for that position.

I am sick and tired of Optimums rude, pushy salesmen ringing my doorbell. I will never switch because of this. Pro tip guys, NO ONE wants door to door salesmen.

They were very helpful and organized. However I am cancelling my service with them. I've been with them for 7 months and although everyone is professional and nice, they have not resolved my TV tech issueTime to go back to Verizon

I've recently had a couple of issues that needed to be addressed. I've been a customer for over 20 yrs and was contemplating switching to FIOS. But In dealing with the Reddit Optimum support online, they were able to resolve all the issues to my satisfaction. They were responsive and timely. I wanted to leave a review for them and was instructed to leave one here. I will be staying as an Optimum customer as a result of my recent experience.

The service provided by optimum is really horrible and ridiculous. The customer care agents do not have much knowledge. Their speed is too horrible as well.

I've been a customer for over 10 years with just a few hiccups with outages but that's understandable. I'm getting a speed of Ive notices restarting the modem fixed most of my connection issue. I usually never write reviews but today I had a great customer support experience with Ricardo. Thanks

Ive only been a customer for 1 month, and im so upset with them i cant even describe. Really terrible customer service. i had new services intalled feb 6th. On march 2nd. less than a month later my services were shut off. no warning. i have a bill that says due march 15th. for $159.00. they say there was a partial monthly payment due a week earlier. now they want to charge me equipment fees totalling $359 extra for a total of $553 just to turn it back on. How can it be that in less than a month of service it can get shut off and have extra fees. I called many times with no help. Just Terrible
