We had a very pleasant experience working with John. He was a tremendous wealth of knowledge and helped us find exactly what we needed for our property. Additionally, pricing was much more affordable than other nurseries closer to the beach.

We have had great luck planting several hedges, trees, and green giants from Landex. The prices are very reasonable and the staff is excellent. Our experience has been the plain spoken help knows their stuff and we appreciate the no-nonsense approach they take with us. We follow their directions and so far that has been fruitful for us. Literally.

EDIT/UPDATE
Following my earlier positive review, I rode out to Landex a few days ago for another tree. Found a white oak and tested a random branch with my thumbnail for life as it was still winter and the foliage had not come out yet. Saw green. That and the employee's assertion it was healthy, I bought it.
It was delivered later that day. Fast delivery!
It was in my pre-dug hole within 30 minutes. The tree looked off, though. As I thumbnail tested more branches, I found some more green but also a LOT of brown, indicating dead branches. In fact, roughly half the branches were dead. I also noticed three grape sized galls I had not seen on the nursery's yard on three upper branches. These observations were made within an hour of delivery. Later that day, a tree service owner, grinding a stump on the property, looked at the tree and remarked, "I hope you got a warranty." Imagine my embarrassment.
I reached out to Landex for guidance, even sent photos less than two hours after delivery, but they were unresponsive.
Ok, so I bought a diseased or otherwise non-viable tree which cost me close to $400 with delivery. All sales are final so I'm stuck with it. Ouch. The tree is getting replaced Monday as I can't be sure it's not blighted.
Landex has a huge amount of inventory and maybe this is a one-off. Nevertheless, I'm out a considerable amount of money.
Ladies and gentlemen, I'm not telling you not to shop there. What I AM saying is that you should probably take extra time and care inspecting your purchase before you commit. Think twice about relying on their word that whatever you're buying is healthy and viable. A critical eye is indicated here.

Bought some leyland cypresses in the spring to plant along fence for privacy. Followed their advice on watering. All are growing nicely. Prices very fair.

Bought tree $250. Paid delivery. Planted and watered exactly as told. Died in one week. Called up to see what’s up. They told me to go scratch myself. Avoid. They replied they don’t warranty dead/dying plants! Ha
