The Edison branch closed EARLY. I was there at 4:55 and some young Indian man closed the door as I asked him to wait for me to get out of the car. I called the office while standing at the locked door and the woman who answered told me that their clock said 5:00! I guess they are 5 minutes before my iphone time! I drove over a half hr to get there and got shut down. POOR SERVICE!!!!

I recently got divorced, and I needed to buy a new home, during the pandemic. After months of looking, I finally found the perfect place that was close to my daughters. I was so excited, however I used Fulton Bank and they turned an exciting time into a stressful and horrible experience. The reason why I used them was because I was told by my mortgage loan officer located in Manville, NJ, that unlike large banks they could get me a government grant for $5,000 due to the pandemic. So, I decided to take advantage of that and use them for my mortgage. They also promised me a move in date that I needed, due to personal reasons. On the day of the closing, they asked me to provide more financial information, which concerned me because I had already provided information two months prior to closing. Of course after providing on the day of, they then postponed the date which was the first of 3 times that they would change the closing date. The $5,000 that was promised to me for originally going with them was then changed down to $2,500, then it was down to now $0 because they told me "There was no money left in the grant". I was told this after they said that they reserved the money for and to "not worry". So, I asked them if they could roll the closing fees of $8,000 into the mortgage over a 30-year period, so that I would not have to pay at the closing. Before I went to the closing, I was told I needed to bring a check for $8000. I was lied to once again by the Mortgage Loan Officer as they told me that they would definitely roll the closing cost only to find out an hour prior, they did NOT! This was such a horrible and ethically wrong experience that for the first time in my life I tried to bring a lawsuit against Fulton Bank. I was told there was not enough evidence in the emails because a lot of it was told to me verbally so there was no lawsuit, but I wanted to warn everyone not to use Fulton Bank. Stay away from Fulton Bank there are many more better banks to do business with and if you're promised a "grant" I could tell you that I know another person that did not get "grant money" either. DO NOT BELIEVE IT.

Terrible customer service. I went there today with my daughter to open a checking account. It was empty. Didn't even get a hello or a smile when we walked in. We were told that we needed an appointment. (Really?? Why, because you are socially distancing the people that AREN'T there?) So, we left WITHOUT making an appointment. We went across the street to OceanFirst Bank in Swedesboro. The immediately welcomed us in with a "Hello! How can we help you?" The bank manager, Peggy Battaglia, then met with us and opened a checking account for my daughter. She even talked to my daughter about financial responsibility, how to keep her information private, etc.

Jeez, where to start? This used to be a good bank. My wife and I came here to get away from the rediculous fees the big banks were charging. We banked here for years and were very happy. The bank manager is great and the tellers were awesome and personable. Fulton began to merge and their upper management changed their policies. We found ourselves locked out of their online banking 2 or 3 times a month. It would take 2 hours to fix their error. What a waste of a Saturday. Then the inevitable happened. We got locked out again. This time the mortgage company took money that my wife didn't anticipate. We couldn't get into the online banking. Of course they notify you by snail mail when there is a issue. Being locked out, we couldn't check balances or transfer so we ended up getting hit with $200 in fees when we didn't even know there was an issue. We were livid. We headed over there and explained the problem. They basiclly told us to kick rocks. We gave them a week to fix it, which they didn't. The big bank up the street agreed to give us back the money Fulton stole in fees if we transferred our money to them. What would you do? Yeah, we love the new bank. No sneaky fees and we haven't been locked out of their online system yet. Personally I don't think that was an accident. Plus, the new bank has an awesome app that my wife loves. I'm sick of rip off banks and, unfortunately, this has become one of them. Bank wherever you want, but when there are so many banks to chose from, why would you come here?
