Freehold Chrysler Jeep Dodge is like any other dealership sales man Shaun was pleasant. However I thought I would be meeting with Ms. Rachel. I was informed that she is just an employee involved with website appointments/internet. When scheduling the appointment with Rachel I explicitly asked if the price for the vehicle was a hard price or if there was room for negotiation due to the excessive mile logged on the odometer in one years use. Rachel placed me on hold to get the answer from the sales manager, when she returned she stated that there was negotiation space, however when I got to the dealership and spoke to the sales manager stated that the sales price was pretty firm and that he could only discount the price by $500 on a vehicle priced at $59,900.00! Technically that may be viewed as a negotiation but in actuality it was a take it or leave it offer, after a 3 hour drive from Bowie Maryland!
I believe Autolist and the dealerships have left perspective buyer in a disjointed position, to that I will end that purchasing local is the way to go as my business with Freehold Chrysler Jeep Dodge is complete.
