Best gym daycare I’ve used for my two children. I’ve changed gyms several times, trying to find the right fit. They love the ladies great the children with big smiles and open arms every time. My children love them so much, they ask to go everyday! I feel completely safe leaving them for 2hrs.

just started to go to centre state fitness & wellness center after going to rwj fitness & wellness center for 15 years but rwj fitness closed in march started going regularly in April went to central state it is a very nice facility it's clean has a lot of machines weights one of the reasons I come here is there pools lap, hot tub & therapy pool I have a lot of aches and pains so the therapy pool was a must also the salt water filter water is great only downer is the ride I live in old bridge it takes about 20 minutes and almost besides that I really like it steve van buren!

You can get your workout without worrying about too many teenagers hanging out, or being in a dating scene. I like the professional approach, the variety of machines and most of all, the variety of the classes for all fitness levels.

As a teacher and mom I cannot be happier!!! I fully trust my little guy with this wonderful group of ladies. He is so happy to go, gives me a kiss and runs right in. It’s so nice to be able to take care of myself and know my baby is in good hand.

I have been a member of the center for almost two years now. I originally signed up because of the daycare amenity, which many of the fitness centers in the area do not have. I could not be happier with the center as a whole, but most importantly the child care center. My children have been attending here regularly for the last two years and the staff has become like a family to us. Alison, the manager has a true passion for what she does and really cares for each child and their experience at the center. There is plenty for the children to do..arts and crafts, movies, games, theme days, many toys and educational items for all ages. The staff is absolutely wonderful and my children have taken to them so well. Alison, Nikki, Michelle, Gianna, Catherine, Laura, Christina—they are all truly wonderful people who really care for the children and love their jobs. It really shows through the atmosphere and attention they give to each and every child. I could not be happier. If you are looking for a great place to bring your child while you utilize the facility, you can put your trust in the childcare center 100%!

I’ve been bringing my daughter to the daycare since she was 9 months old (first born too so it wasn’t easy picking one) and usually stick with the morning time. Nikki, Diane, Michelle, Gianna and everyone else that works there are absolutely amazing! The care and love they have for the kids and their job is far and few to come by. I’ve moved recently and now my drive to the gym is about 40 minutes. Just from the amazing staff I’ve chosen to stay with this gym and drive. I feel so comfortable and safe with them watching over my daughter that I can really take the time to focus on working out. I’ve had zero issues since joining and my daughter will be turning 2 in May! I’m so happy that I was able to find such a reliable, safe and friendly daycare! I cannot say enough nice things about it!! I’d give 100 stars if I could :)

I never really was a gym person but I have to say I love this gym! My trainer Yolandi is fantastic. She really has helped me become a stronger person and she really cares. . Oh did I mention I love the pool too! There is so much to do at this fitness center. I found my happy place.

This gym has the best daycare ever!!! They are reliable and my son loves being there. They do cute crafts with the kids and buy new toys, like sensory bins and play kitchens. All the workers are super nice and they keep the place very clean. Five star daycare for sure!

We’ve tried several workout places & studios in the Freehold/Manalapan area: Planet Fitness, Orange Theory Fitness, and others. This is by far the best one, hands down. There’s something here for everyone: classes, weight machines, cardio machines, personal training & swimming. However, the main reason for the 5-star review is the friendly, helpful & knowledgeable staff and the value for our money. The locker rooms are immaculate, the complimentary amenities are plentiful; the steam & sauna are the finishing touch after a great workout. Cannot say enough about this place. Shout out to Allie, the membership rep who signed us up: the consummate professional - informative & friendly, never pushy. And last, but not least: our thanks to Delilah: our fitness levels wouldn’t be where they are without your training & guidance.

I have to start my review with the daycare. The daycare is my number one draw to this gym and the caregivers are exceptional at caring for the kids. This isn’t a regular “babysit” situation they take the time to know your kids and you. They play games, read books, and make sooo many cute crafts! My kids love the caregivers and even ask to go see them daily! The hours are reasonable and can accommodate anyone’s schedule. The gym itself is extremely clean. You will easily see maintenance during your workout cleaning the bathrooms and the main gym floor. The equipment is up to date and any issues with equipment gets resolved swiftly. There are so many options for your workout and you can enjoy your time while also knowing your kids are being taken care of!!

Centre State is a unique atmosphere. Their gym location is right next to a rehab center, their pools/showers are always extremely clean. Plenty of equipment. Mature, considerate and respectful members all around. A huge thank you to the daycare center. If you have kids, their daycare center will take care of them as one of their own. Both of my kids always look forward to it. By far the best gym I have ever joined.

Joined a year ago. Fairly small gym with an older crowd. Locker room clean. Guest policy discriminative and flawed - the front desk staff takes blood pressure of guests at random. Only pro is it’s one of the few gyms in the area to with child care services. Cancelled my membership due to expensive membership price ($78.90) and guest policy issue. Overall 2.5/3 out of 5.Updated response:I understand this is CentraState’s policy, however, I am more upset that this policy is enforced at random. Completely bizarre!If it is a health risk for people within a certain blood pressure range to not work out at their facility, why do they not take everyone’s blood pressure - members and guests included?Do they not care about my safety? What are you not taking my blood pressure when I singed up for my membership or when I check in? Very confusing.Funny thing is, if my guest signed up for a membership - they would have taken his money, not taken his blood pressure, and he would been able to scan into the gym as he pleased.
