Came here in the morning of 12/09/23 around 10-11am to use their air pump that only takes quarters. I went inside to attempt to exchange $1 for quarters but the cashier said i have to buy something 1st to open the drawer. I walked out and asked the gas attendant if he can exchange it but pointed me back to the cashier inside. I always go here during warm weather to fill up my motorcycle at least 2-3/week since this is the closest to me(I'm local) but after this experience they won't get a dime from me. I rarely write negative reviews unless they really deserved it. This one deserves it.

IF I COULD RATE THIS 7/11 ZERO I WOULD.I have been to various 7/11s in my life time. This by far is the worst place to go out of all the 7/11s.In this store I have seen rats coming out of the freezer. Not only that but the guy tried to accuse me of breaking things on purpose because of my skin color.Every time I walk in that store after coming from school i get stared down and one of the workers watches my every move.I have noticed with other African Americans who walk in that store experience the same thing from my school.Usually after school I am starving and go and buy 2 pizza and a slushee.I'm total this should ring up to about 4 dollars.Instead every time I go up to that register I get scammed. If it wasn't for the fact that I am starving I would not go there. The costumer service I also bad.One time I confronted them about the issue of scamming after adding up everything perfectly and adding the typical one dollar of tax.I went up to the register they charged me 3 dollars over the amount for what I bought.when I told them they where clearly ringing it up wrong. The guy instantly caught an attitude towards me and told me I was wrong and that there was a lot of tax.And said I am too young to understand how money works. When I went there another time and bought hot chocolate they scammed me again and when I went home I ended up getting food poisoning and having to go to the hospital. There are so many story's about the place the whole ambiance is horrible and I would never recommend going there. It is so bad I wanna give it a zero but that's not possible so I give it a 1.

7-11 at South Street. When you own a business you are responsible for what happens at your business, and in your business. The young guy running the counter at this 7-11 on 6/4/22 doesn't seem to understand that. I went to the beverage cooler and took a bottle of milk off the shelf. Two faces of the product, it clearly said 2.19 on the shelf. He rings me up and it's almost $4.00. I told him he's wrong, it's 2.19 under the tag. He shows me the item marketed in a different cooler (same product) with a higher price. I told him I didn't get it from there and showed him where I got it from, two faces fully stocked. He says, oh that's a different brand, the guy who stocked the shelf made a mistake. I say okay, but what are you going to do about it? Remove the price tag, make a correction at the register? His choice was do nothing and to let the issue remain. I told him either you sell me the product at the price on the shelf or you don't make the sale. He chose to pass, which is fine. BUT....it's bad business. Now I will never buy anything at this store ever again so that will be a consistent loss of sales AND I will tell everyone I know not to shop here because they practice deceptive pricing. Your 1.80 decision will now cost your business owner hundreds of dollars or more. Congratulations young man, your first lesson in business, the customer is always right. I was too, it's not just a saying. I would love to hear the conversation when your manager reads this.

I went for a coffee and got some stuff and I started putting the items in the counter and I still had an item in my hand while I was talking to my son because he wanted a taquito and there were 3 people at the cash register, one of them were about to scan my items but another one told me that I needed to pay for the item i had in my hand but he said it in a disrespectful way like if we tried to steal it, in the end i decided to leave the items in the counter and leave, they need training on how to treat the customer

7-Eleven has always been the same, but this one seems to be a little bit bigger and carry a little bit more products.

I was up in Freehold, New Jersey on business and after lunch I stopped into this 7-Eleven to get a cup of coffee and a few other items. When I walked in there was a very offending odor and stench in the place and it was really bad. I went over and made a large coffee then I went and picked up the other items that I needed and while I was doing this the stench was getting stronger by the minute. I was glad I was not going be in this place to long because if I was I would have gagged for sure. When I went up to the counter to pay for all of my items there was this dirty looking guy behind the counter and as I was paying him I asked him, 'Sir what is that horrible stench and odor in here?'. He replied and could barely speak English, 'I do not know what you are talking about'. I replied, 'You don'r smell that bad odor in here?'. He replied, 'No I do not smell anything'.I just looked at him and got my change and walked out. This is a dirty filthy 7-Eleven and I do not recommend going into this place unless you are looking to get sick...!
