I arrived at 6:45 PM today. Was advised my nails could not be done, business closes at 7PM. My search here says 7:30PM. I am looking for a new nail salon and decided to try this location because it is close to me. But I will keep looking first impression.. not impressed.

UPDATE: I had the pleasure of meeting Loan the owner today, she asked me to come back so she could fix my nails. She is delightful. Talkative, super sweet, did a wonderful job on manicure and pedicure. Really took her time. If this was my first experience with NailXpo I'd already be super impressed. What a different experience from the first time.
It only takes one bad experience to ruin a place, I stand by the below review of that tech and the awful woman who "helped" him. But I'm very glad i accepted Loan's invitation to give NailXpo a second chance. I will happily rebook with her (and only her) and I'm very glad to find a good person close to home.
Thank you Loan!
ORIGINAL REVIEW:
One star because it's clean.
I'm looking for a new place since my nail tech of 4 years moved out of state from my previous salon. I called today, made an appointment for a gel mani/pedi with acrylic fill. I got a male tech who didn't even introduce himself, just took me to his station (#3) and started removing my old polish. He did a terrible sloppy job and I had to ask him TWICE to take off the rest of the old polish before locking it in with a new coat of acrylic. He not only left the old polish on the sides of my nails, there were whole spots on top that still had the old color on them. Even the manager or owner had to say something to him before he finally got them mostly clean.
I don't know who anybody is because nobody introduced themselves or welcomed me.
Then he put a very thin layer of acrylic on and filed my nails - all crooked. One nail I could see where the acrylic ended at the base of my nail, that's not a fill but I didn't even mention that. I have had a square nail shape done since I'm 13, it's not that hard to file them straight across. I almost asked for my nails shorter but I'm glad I didn't because again I had to show him TWO TIMES that they were still crooked at which point he literally got up from the station and completely walked away from me. The manager/owner woman came over, asked what the problem was, I said I just want them filed straight and square. She picked up a file and proceeded to file my nails down super short and finally got them straight. Good thing I didn't want them long.
The male tech finally came back and put the color on, he did fine with that, then when I was done he walked over to the front and started talking to another customer without saying a single word to me and I had to wait to pay. I guess he figured I was not going to stick around for the pedicure I made the appointment for and he was right. I'll just keep my last pedi for another month before I let them butcher my feet too.
I've had some rude places in my life but never before has somebody not spoken two words to me then gotten up and walked away from me when I just asked to not leave with crooked nails. If I have to file them myself what is the point of having them done? Awful horrible experience - Do Not Recommend.

The worst experience ever!! The woman cut my big toe cuticle so badly that it bled the whole time I was getting my pedicure. She also buffed a dry spot on my other foot so badly that it had a deep cut. She did not attend to these cuts until I brought them to her attention. Also, she never once offered an apology. I decided to let it go and went home. After an hour, my feet were still burning and hurting. I called the salon and the woman/owner/Luann who answered said to come in to get a refund. Still, no apology!! As soon as I came in, Luann handed me my money and was trying to push me out the door. I asked her, doesn't she want to see the damage to my feet? She said, oh ok. She said she will take care of me next time. Why would I ever go back again!!

I’ve been coming to NailXpo for over 6 years and they just opened a new location a couple of doors down from their old space. Looks INCREDIBLE. Clean, comfortable, modern and great atmosphere. Love my manicure from Rose - she’s the best!! Congratulations on the new spot NailXpo!

They tell you one price over the phone then charge you for another.Rude and disrespectful. I put my Google translate and it picked up on what they’re saying. Talking rudely about customers. Shouldn’t have tipped

I was curious to try a new nail salon as this salon was near my errands today. Sadly, the simple pedicure was VERY sloppy. I’ve never had to fix my own polish during a pedicure until today. Shaky polish lines, no foot scrub, superficial filing. I will be returning to my usual spot, Summer Star Nails on Cranbury Road, where they are able to meet at least minimalistic expectations for a pedicure in a clean and friendly environment. Avoid Nailxpo if you have any expectations for a decent, simple pedicure. They are unable to deliver.

Loanne is the best nail tech! I started getting manicures last year and I won't see anyone else. She's sweet and very efficient at what she does.

Dont feel like giving even 1 star. Pathetic attitude. Booked my appointment a week before, spoke to the lady i wanted to get my nails done from and she took down my appointment. When i went there on the appointment day, she was sitting idle seeing her phone screen. Refused to take me and directed me to another guy talking in their local language. Absolutely unethical. Shouldnt have given me the appointment if she was not available. Horrible experience!! Will never go back
