The mother does a phenomenal job with african American hair , for her I rate her a 5/5 . the daughter ruined me hair put too much oil on my hair and I left my hair thin and did a horrible job which led me to do locs , Never will go back unless it’s the mother touching my hair

Love Juanita Hair Salón super friendly, professional and listen to exactly what I want done and hit it on point every time. They are the only ones I will ever let touch my hair. Hair color, highlights and hair color. Love the deep conditioning. My hair always looks beautiful. ????

I got beautified by Marisela Vargas. I got a blow out, highlights, cut, and washed along with 2 small braids and eyebrows and mustache done. Super excited and am extremely satisfied! Highly recommend.

Really different from all hair salons i have been . My hair wasn’t dry properly the lady keep asking me how I wanted the hair and at the end she did it wrong . My hair was freeze and doesn’t look like it was styled 2 days ago . Wasted of money I rather stick to the hair salons I know

Horrible! Absolutely Horrible! Mother and daughter both have attitudes! Not clean . Don't go...go to perth amboy...!!! Overpriced and under clean! Didn't even care about price... was the service..dont care about your customers..if ur new client, they could careless.. wonder why their moving? Can't pay rent?! Change your attitudes...you might be able to afford it!

Really wanted to like this place. Went in to get corn rows and was asked if I had already washed my hair- this should have been a red flag. I said I hadn't and also need a deep condition. At no point during my wash and deep condition was my hair detangled. Instead, after washing out the conditioner, my hair was simultaneously detangled and blow dried with a brush. Needless to say, there was a lot of breakage. Then came the braiding. I asked for feed-in braids, which were pulled so tight, with so much hair added that it was just heavy and pulling painfully at my roots. I was in so much pain and new the damage to my hair and hairline had already been done. I removed the braids at 3am as I couldn't sleep. A complete waste of money ($45 for a deep condition with regular Mizani conditioner?), but also immense damage to my hair. If you have type 4 hair, I would not recommend unless you want brutal force applied to your hair to achieve a style. This salon does not take into account the long term health of your hair or hair follicles. If I could give less than 1 star, I would.

The stylish were very nice and professional. They gave my hair a great deal of treatment. I have a much healthier scalp and had beautiful box braids since I have done business with this salon. I hope it stays for years to come.Service: Hairstyling
