Lots of beautiful items but the owner made the experience uncomfortable. I took out my phone to check it and she immediately yelled at me “no pictures” when I wasn’t planning on taking pictures of anything. Went on and on about how expensive everything is in her store and was very pushy on selling items. I get that she has to make money but dont be pushy lol. We told her we came in for the bad bunny concert and she also had to say how his music is trash and blah blah blah. Just a very uncomfortable experience and I will not be returning.

owner was amazing and super helpful! there was a wonderful selection of boots, clothing, belts, and hats. everything is extremely high quality! I am super satisfied with my purchase and I can’t wait to wear my boots out. Real leather and great quality!! I would recommend this store to anyone looking to get some long lasting boots instead of going to a chain store. Support your small businesses!!

I was going to a 60th Birthday Party and the theme was cowboy/ cowgirl. My bf wanted to buy me a good pair of cowboy boots. We decided to stop in and try El Porto Norteno. I didn’t know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised to find many cool things packed into this small store.When I entered the store, a friendly woman named Alma helped us. I tried on several pairs of cowboy boots and found a pair I really liked. Alma knew exactly which boots would be good for me and the boots I chose were beautifully made and all hand stitched. The prices weren’t bad considering the entire boots were all hand made and 100% leather inside and out.I like a square toed boots and these were perfect. I wore them for hours and they were so very comfortable.My boyfriend bought a black stetson cowboy hat, and he found a really cool shirt and a bolo to go with it.We were going right to the party from there. Alma noticed that my brand new skirt was ripped across the middle bottom. She told me not to worry,she just so happened to have a needle and thread and sewed the rip in my skirt in 30 seconds. I’ve never seen someone sew a rip the way she did in one complete stitch. It was amazing, you couldn’t even tell where the rip was. I was so grateful for her kindness and help.This isn’t a very big place, but they sell all kinds of leather and western wear. There is something for everyone including kids. I would definitely come back and buy another pair of boots and hat. This store is located in a strip mall at the very end. There is free parking in the lot.
