Amy Luster!!!! Somerset NJ CVS ... The best ever!! I went today for health insurance screening and she showed so much professionalism, compassion and care that went above and beyond. Such a dedicated health care personal!! Hats off ?. And for the record .... the examination room is being designed wrong!! Its designed backwards ? I'm serious ?

I was transferring a prescription from another pharmacy because my 101 year old father needs his prescriptions delivered. After the first phone call I was promised a call back in 1/2 hour to update the credit card on file. The call back never came. (25 minutes on hold). On my second call I was informed that I had to update the credit card information via text message, which I was doing when the person I was speaking with said okay call me back when this gets processed and hung up. (Another 25 minutes of hold time). On my third call for a total of "only" 20 minutes, the system was having glitches, but my order was finally processed. And let me not forget I was quoted several different prices for delivery.

HORRIBLE SERVICE. I waited in the drive-thru line for 15mn. Just have the window close without warning. I dont live in the area. I drove out of my way to get to the only Rx that has my medication. I work from home hoping in between meetings I could pick up meds and get back in time for a meeting. Now I'm stck waiting until 2pm for them to open.I asked the pharmacist if they could make an accepting. The pharmacist was going to help, and then the boss yelled from the back that we were closed, and we open at 2.

It’s unfortunate when you drive to a store and opt to pick out your own items due to time constraints, rather than utilize pick up in store an hour later and they charge you more and refuse to adjust prices.

This CVS is great! Most of the team members are awesome, but I want to give a special shout out to Erica for always greeting me and helping find whatever I need when I come into the store. Erica works both in the front as a cashier, and at the pharmacy, so she assists me with all of my different needs when I am there! This CVS is smaller than many others in the area, but they do say that quality is better than quantity - check it out!

I can see why this location is rated 2.8 on Google. Very disorganized understaffed & very messy. Ordered prints online at 2 PM. Expected it to be done by 4 PM via the email they sent pictures already come pick them up I come to the store and of course“I don’t know what happened to them somebody must’ve misplaced them I have to reprint.” So if somebody misplaced them, can you find that person?“Oh no there’s nobody else here” states the employee. Well, do you know how long it’s gonna take to reprint? “Oh I don’t know you have a lot of prints maybe 15 minutes “ first and last time I get anything from the CVS do yourself a favor find another location

This CVS on Elizabeth Ave. Somerset is extremely busy. At any point in the day, count the people behind the counter at the pharmacy. Probably around 8-10 working on orders, etc, another 2-3 cashiers, and another at the drive up. No one is just standing around. Since we lost Drug Fair and Rite Aid nearby, this pharmacy is handling the load. It’s true, unfortunately they frequently do not answer the phone at peak hours. My husband has a ton of meds prescribed by 4 doctors, it gets difficult. What I do is, I simply show up and speak to the lead pharmacist at the chat counter. He is normally juggling customers and typing frantically. Lol. BUT he is just so nice! 100% friendly, helpful, polite, and patient. For this reason, CVS gets 5 stars from me.

This pharmacy gave me the wrong medication dosage. Beware and double check your medication at time of pick up. They said I can’t return or exchange for the right dosage after it’s already been picked up. That should be illegal. It’s the wrong dosage!

I went on line to schedule Covid vaccination, they scheduled me at 11:30 am. I drove 45minutes , when I got there , they said appointment was canceled due to no Covid vac available, they said they sent cancellation, they did not. In fact I got a text from them an hour before appointment saying to check in . Extremely bad business practice.

I just had the best experience with a manager in the store. She was Uber helpful and helped me pick out the best shade for me. She even taught me how to use the scanner on my CVS app to check for coupons!!

The absolute worst pharmacy. Unfortunately my insurance mandates I get from CVS or online pharmacies. They take forever to fill important prescriptions and getting through to them on the phone is impossible.

Best pharmacy ever! I was given the rub around for a critical medication my son needed and no one was able to help me find a location that had it. Edison CVS was kind to direct me here after 5 hours of going to different pharmacies and this place was able to help me right before they had to leave. Thank you so much for putting my mind to ease and caring so much when no other pharmacy did to help me get the medication my son needed!

I have had nothing but positive experiences with this pharmacy. The pharmacists are kind and efficient, as are all the pharmacy staff that I have dealt with. They are far superior to all CVS pharmacies from the edison to piscataway areas!
