Stay away unless you want to get yelled at! We were moving from a long distance away and came to town for a week to find a million and a half dollar house to buy. Pretty much a guaranteed buy. Jon Kessler knew we were coming from across the country and were under time constraints. We gave him a long list of houses and areas we wanted to see and which days we were free. He didn't seem to want to show us the houses and kept coming up with excuses that didn't make sense. (We don't think he wanted to do the work, but he wouldn't just tell us that ahead of time). The morning we were driving to meet him at a house we clicked on the link he had just sent us, then 15min later he sent another link saying to use this address instead. I called him because the 2 addresses were in opposite directions and we had gone 20min in the wrong direction. When I asked him about it, first he said he couldn't hear me (we were in the car with our 2 kids so then I spoke louder so he could hear me), then he told me I couldn't read and follow directions and that he didn't give me 2 different links, and that he would no longer show us the houses because he didn't like my tone of voice (mind you he couldn't complain about anything I said because I had barely said anything!) I asked if we could just see the 4 houses for that morning that we had appointments for and he refused. That put us in a bind because we had such limited time, and it affected the people trying to sell their houses. I have no doubt he will accuse me of all kinds of things for posting this, so all of our interactions were written (except for the phone call where he fired me -before I could even say much) and I am happy to provide the emails and texts. We have since found a great realtor who was more than happy to set everything up for us. It was a world of difference between the two people.

Jon Kessler has sold many houses and is one of the most experienced realtors in the industry. But what impressed me most is his honesty and down to earth. He is never pushy. He is never greedy (he even reduced his commission to make deal work between me and seller). He is organized and get required CO on time. I owned several properties and have dealt with several realtors in the past, he is my “most recommended” one.
