Hands down Van is the best hair stylist in NJ. I’ve tested them all out I promise you! So glad I found Van, been coming for here for over 7 years now and ALWAYS leave loving my hair. I get highlights, lowlights and base color done that he perfected specifically for me and my skin tone and features. I get TONS of compliments all the time. It’s a treat to come here and I never feel nervous about how it’s going to turn out. He has my complete trust. I live 45 minutes away and his talent is soooo worth the drive. My daughters come here too for their cuts. A great hidden gem in north Jersey.

Vincent is the real deal. I was ready for a new cut and at the same time I was afraid to try something new! Vincent listened to my concerns, immediately put me at ease, made great recommendations, and gave me the best cut I've had in years! I've received so many compliments on my new cut. Everyone in the salon is super kind too! Highly recommend. I will definitely be back.

When I first moved to NJ 5 years ago I tried so many different salons all over northern NJ, I'm extremely picky about my hair, and I want getting my hair done to be a relaxing experience because I trust the stylist as opposed to stressing out sitting in that chair wondering how it's going to turn out. I am sooo thankful for the recommendation I received to go to Van. Van is the absolute best hands down. He has that natural talent to know what color and cut is perfect for you and his execution is precise. I debated writing a review because I don't want him to get so booked up that I can't get appointments, lol. You do have to book a good month or two in advance for him already. He is the bomb, let him do what he thinks is best and you won't be disappointed. I always walk out feeling fabulous and seriously get a TON of compliments on my hair color and cut thanks to Van. My young daughters go there for haircuts as well and Mary is wonderful. The entire staff there is great, it's a very clean and tidy salon, with a sophisticated yet cool, laid back vibe, and ultra talented stylists. You'll be happy you came here too.

I wish I could give more stars, such a tremendous experience. The stylists are so kind, and engaging. Mary is so meticulous in her craft when coloring, she genuinely cares about ensuring my hair is as healthy as it can be, the color is absolutely gorgeous too! The salon is beautiful and has a very modern aesthetic as well. I am very happy that found this gem.

Ever since I moved from NYC, 15 years ago I couldn't find a hairdresser that I was happy with and that took time to know my hair and style. Vincent just gets it and he knows hair. He is also really good at looking at you and giving you recommendations on what would look good on you. I always walked out happy and felt that he did exactly what I communicated.

Bottom line.. best hair salon I’ve been too and I’ve gone to plenty. Van listens to what I want and always has suggestions that exceed my expectations when I’m in need of a change. It’s clean, warm and they treat you like family. HIGHLY recommended especially if your as picky as I am.
