I just got a wedding invitation over a month late. It is stamped August 29 and today is October 1st. Not thdd we first time that get date sensitive mail late or never. Also get mail belonging to a complete address , as well as my neighbors mail at times. ?

Friendly knowledgeable staff. Came in at closing and they were able to get my packages out in no time. They are the model of what a USPS location should be. The place is always neat and they do their best to keep the lines down.

My husband went to the Post Office in Franklin Lakes to mail a letter at my request. I asked him to get postage for the letter and once postmarked to take a picture of the letter with his cell phone so I have a photo record of sending it. My husband came home and told me that he was told that he could not take a picture of the letter once it was postmarked. I called the post office and I spoke w/someone named Wally who is supposedly a supervisor & he said he was the person who told my husband he was not allowed to take a picture of it after it was postmarked because that is a service they provide. Something he called a certificate of mailing which costs $1.40. I said you are going to charge me to take a photo with my own camera??? That is absolutely ridiculous! I have been taking pictures of items I'm mailing after being postmarked for years! I've done it here in NJ as well as PA. As a matter of fact I have done it at this very Post Office in Franklin Lakes! This is completely absurd! Lesson learned...don't go to this Post Office and don't deal with anyone the likes of this guy named Wally!!!

The Franklin Lakes Post office is to be commended. The staff is friendly, kind, courteous, and super helpful. Today the attendant informed me that I could save over $5 by packaging my return item differently. She then proceeded to help me to do so. I do not live in Franklin Lakes but go out of my way to use this post office. Today just reaffirmed why i do so.

I agree with the negative remarks. Every time I ask for the workers at the desk to do something they act like I’m bothering them. God forbid you walk in right before closing. They leave only one door open. They are nasty & not helpful at all!!

It's okay, but some of the attendants at the front counter can be a bit snotty, but otherwise the place is alright
