Nice place in between the woods but its very small trail but if you are looking for bird feeders and food visit this place.

This sanctuary exists to protect animals and plants as well as provide information on preserving the environment. It's not a large property but these sanctuaries are essential. It's a great place to bring your kids and give them some incite on nature. You can go by during business hours to take a walk, watch some birds, learn about nature, take some pictures or have a picnic. There is a book store and a gift shop on this beautiful property. Check out their website if you are interested in a one of the classes or workshops they provide. It's also a great place for a field trip.

Stopped in last month...purchased some seed and a few great books and joined the Audubon society! The woman there suggested a wonderful squirrel proof bird feeder. We have been enjoying seeing the birds in our yard feed...it's been great especially through the wintery days inside....I would highly recommend going to Lorrimer for the wonderful knowledge and advice. Can't wait for the warmer weather to further explore!

I’m SO glad we found this oasis! My family had a great day outside, taking in the fun and beautiful trails. Perfect space where the kids can explore and the trails are truly the ideal length for kids. Thanks so much for sharing this space with the community!

Came for the first time today and already looking forward to returning and seeing what's changed! Trails are pristinely kept, and since the Sanctuary is set back from the road, it feels like you're disappearing into the trees. Educational signs are posted every so often with illustrations depicting the local wildlife and facts about them and their habits. Met a friendly staff member who told me a bit about future plans, which I'm looking forward to seeing! Wildlife everywhere, absolutely incredible.

A little too early too see plants in bloom, but interesting how the have fenced off large portion to allow it to go natural without the dear eating all the young plants. Will be back in a month to see it awaken!
