Our Brainstorm tutor knows how to keep challenging, while making sure that my son is not lost in the material. She encourages independent learning skills by asking open-ended questions. She is very supportive and knowledgeable. She has built a positive relationship and has made learning fun. My sons’ grades have improved as well as his confidence.

Brainstorm and my tutor Nick Trentacosta helped me improve my SAT score and improve my math grades in high school. Nick answered any questions I had and was very flexible with our schedule which helped a lot. I felt he was always insightful about each problem we solved while letting me figure out and learn each solution. I had a great experience with my tutor Nick and the program, would recommend.

My son received a 100 on his final exam in Algebra 1 after attending Brainstorm for less than a month time. His tutor explained things clearly and helped him get back on track. Brainstorm was very responsive to our needs and I highly recommend them.

Ellie Gammer is an excellent tutor who is patient, smart and wonderful at explaining topics and teaching test tricks and patterns. She helped with both ACT/SAT prep and also high school entrance exam test and made a huge difference!

Brainstorm was an overall great experience. I participated in the 4 day SAT/ACT prep course and learned more in those 4 days than I believe I would have through months of studying. My brainstorm coach shared strategies that helped me achieve my target scores. By the end of the 4 days I felt very comfortable taking the test, and was extremely successful due to what I learned.

Getting a BrainStorm coach was the best thing I could have done for myself when applying to Physician Assistant school. My coach guided me through the application process by formulating a timeline with reasonable goals and deadlines, helping me create and edit my application essays, and providing GRE prep. Most importantly, my BrainStorm tutor was always there to support me during this stressful time. I could not have done this without them.

We used Brainstorms services to prepare our daughter for the SAT's. I found the tutors very knowledgeable and positive. We only needed a couple of sessions of each (Math/English) and we found they boosted my daughters confidence and gave her the advantage she needed to improve her scores. We've used Brainstorm for tutoring for the last 4 years for both our kids, starting in elementary school through middle school and high school. The math/physics/chemistry tutor my kids are currently working with has been fantastic. We recently started working with an English tutor, and she hit it off with both our kids, even though they have completely different learning styles. Excellent.
