Reina is not a queen as her name implies rather, she is a racist Dominican witch. I used to live in Fort Lee, I went to this salon often and was a client of a young stylist there. I moved away out of state but happened to be in the area so I called to set an appointment and my hair stylist was not available so I was placed with Reina. This was 2 years ago and every so often I think of Reina and the racist experience I had with her. It has never been something I forgot and thus years later I am writing this review. Reina was rude and pulled my hair and complained in Spanish that she didn't want to do my type of hair, not knowing that I understand Spanish. The lady who manages the salon had to come take the comb from her and comb my hair which was already washed by them and had never been an issue with other stylists before. Reluctantly, she did my hair and then at the end, she started speaking French to me, it then occurred to me that she was being a witch because she thought I was Haitian (I am not) and knowing what happens in the DR.with Dominicans and Haitians, it made sense. Reina, I hope you get the karma that is reserved for you. Run away from her ,dont walk.

He is very savvy about modern trends/styles and experienced as an image stylist and colorist. He is a joy to be around, super friendly, kind, and honest. I trust his advice as my stylist and have always had positive results after each visit. Prices are competitive and worth it as well.Services: Shampoo & conditioning

I’ve been coming to this salon for approximately a year. Ive always had my hair a dark brown color. However, that changed once I had my consultation with Edgar ? amazing hair colorist. He guided me with the alternative of balayage. For someone as minimalist as me, this is a great option. Not only did I get a balayage but worked with Edgar ?over the course & jazzed it up even more throughout the months to try different looks. Marcela does an amazing job with such a welcoming personality & thoroughly washing & drying. Iris, also one of the hairstylist, was amazing with my blowouts. Definitely a thumbs up for this salon. Their attentiveness on dedicating your appointment time to be solely for their client in chair is of utmost importance. Definitely recommend Edgar’s money piece.

So happy I bypassed the 2 bad reviews I read, and just went and tried this salon for myself. Service was excellent (color, wash and blowdry) and environment very welcoming and friendly. Raina is such a pleasure to deal with and she listens to what you are looking to have done on your hair - thanks sooooo much Raina!
