Reservation means nothing to these workers at this shop. Had to wait about 50mins after my appointment time to cut my hair and the audacity to ask for tip to me is ridiculous. I am never coming back here.

The stylist by the name Gloria always call me back I tried to push me out of may appointment to the later time. I guess, "her" clients were more important than me. I am not coming back here again

My second time to come to this salon. The first time time was about 9 years ago and my experience there was very pleasant. This second time in 2023 was something different. Was the owner of this salon changed? As soon as I entered the salon, I realized something wrong. Yes the place is very disorganized and not clean. The bowl of hair coloring cream was not cleaned and left on the cart and coloring cream was on the floor and stained everywhere. Shelves are disorganized. Just simply not neat. My hair stylist didn't ask how I wanted my hair to be and started coloring. The shampoo lady grabbed my head so hard. Nothing was pleasant for my second time visit here. Will not come back.

I haven't been to Salon de Chloe for some time and I think there has been mgmt change because I can see a few things have changed (e.g. interior, vibe). Nonetheless, I took my husband to get a haircut after seeing my brother's haircut. Unfortunately, his hairdresser was out but Hannah cut his hair. She took time and care to cut his hair and she was super friendly! My husband felt very comfortable even though he doesn't speak a word of Korean. A bit more than what he normally pays ($35 excl. tip) but he loved it and that's all it matters! Highly recommend!!

Gloria was very friendly and attentive. She explained step by step what she was thinking and going to do. Very professional and would recommend. Cash recommended esp for tips but the regular bill- credit card was okay. She also takes Venmo for tips.

[Help: Does any one know what salon Tim, the former owner, is at?? Please reach out to me, if so!] Hi, I used to come to Salon de Chloe to get Japanese Hair Straightening done by Tim. I've been a customer of his for 5 years and just found out today that he is no longer at the salon. I only went there 1x / year for the treatment and hadn't been there for some time. I called to make an apt with him and the receptionist told me he is no longer there but wouldn't give me his number. I never cut my hair for religious reasons and had it burned severely at another salon. When I found Tim, I was so relieved to be able to trust someone with my hair. Have been regular here. I trust Chris with my hair. He does a great job with color and cut. Advised me to go with a natural hair color for my roots) not sure of the brand) and my hair has started feeling healthier and soft again. He is a perfectionist with cuts, takes time and will listen to you till you are satisfied. Highly recommend!

I was 20 minutes late to my appointment, but the salon was so accommodating! I've gotten my hair cut before here and it's always turned out exactly the way I wanted. I specifically asked for my hair to be styled with natural curls and Chris did an amazing job with it! Plus, my hair's relatively dead and brittle so I can't imagine that it was easy to work with that. Thanks, Chris!

Make an appointment with Gloria the highly requested hairstylist on yelp, did not enjoy my experience at all. It went wrong from the appointment- they gave me a 4p,m even I clearly told them I wanted to color + highlight + color Meet Gloria, showed her two inspo pictures one for color and one for a haircut, all she said is "oh beautiful, let's try". First of all, I would like to say I am not paying you to experiment with my hair? second of all generally all the other hairstylists I work with will give me some advice and recommendations, nothing of that from her. She start highlighting my hair while doing it she was chit-chatting and complaining to her coworker about the hair color I want is difficult to achieve and is a lot of work ( in Korean) YES! I UNDERSTAND KOREAN 100%. the color + highlight takes a lot of time as I have a lot of hair and I felt she is rushing the whole process, also she ask me " do you work on the weekend that is why you come at 4p.m.". I was like NOPE YOUR FRONT DESK ASK ME COME AT 4PM. She makes it sound like is my fault that she going home late. Also, I felt she could have just told me in the beginning if is ok for me to come back for color next time and we will cut first- I would really appreciate that but again nothing from her. Overall the top color of my hair is ok and the highlight came out horrible even after she fix it. Do not get me started with the haircut, the worst haircut in my entire life, both side lengths are uneven and it looks bad from the back. Also, she overcharged me, $400 - I would do this entire hair at a nicer salon in manhattan with better services.
