A1 towing and repair has been my go to for many car issues over the last few years. Avi has been wonderful to go to, always available, fair, and makes it feel like he's looking out for my best interest, a quality missing in many other shops in the area. From battery issues to flat tires, and more, I've never had a bad experience. Price has always been fair compared to everything around, the service quality high, and the experience good all around.

I was looking to buy a used car and the Rabbi of our shul recommended this shop. He said to talk to Avi and everything will be ok. Avi gave me some advise on which cars I should look at. When I found the Mercedes that I liked, I brought it to him. He warned me about potential costs and he did an inspection. He found some problems but we talked about the costs for repairs and with this information I negotiated a better price from the seller. Avi prioritized all the repairs and quoted everything. His estimates were very reasonable. I called other Mercedes specialists as well as Benzel Bush in Englewood and I fell off the chair when I heard what they charge for oil changes and simple things on the Mercedes. Avi got all the repairs done quickly. My girlfriends all saw the way that I had saved a fortune and they thought of doing the same instead of spending so much money on new cars. My niece wanted an Audi for her birthday and we did the same thing. Avi helped us pick a great car, he checked it and found some huge problems so we decided against the Audi. She finally found a BMW and he gave it his blessing. Now he is doing the maintenance on my car and everyone in my family. I recommend his shop to anyone that wants to get a good mechanic that has integrity.

Great service and great value, came for oil change without an appointment and was in and out in no time. Also, as their customer, the super nice girl in the office helped me check a vehicle online (similar to CARFAX) no cost at all !!!

Avi the owner is one of those old fashioned honest mechanics that earns his customer's trust by providing fair prices and fast service. I go.to his shop for oil changes and all the service on my Mercedes. His work is better than BEnzel, Wolfgang or Bell. He gives good advice and recommends the right service when it is needed. The other shops I mentioned just give a huge list of parts to repair and take wild guess at repairs . Avi and his team of techs have years of experience and they hit the nail in the head each time. My last repair was estimated to take 2 days by Wolfgang in Tenafly for my 560SL.. Avi had it done at half the price and in one day. This is the best mechanic in Bergen County.

Got a tire puncture and this place was close by. Service was very quick and gentlemen were friendly. Price was very low and fair! Showed us every step of the repair process :)

This place is amazing, I had a list of repairs that I needed for my 2010 Cadillac and 2012 Mitsubishi and this place delivered. Avi and his mechanics are very knowledgeable, patient and reliable. I definitely found my go to mechanic. Good service , good prices and on time.

My coolant hose blew and my engine started overheating and smoking up on my Audi. I towed it to A1 and within 30 min I had my car working. Typically the Audi hose is 3-5 day delivery but he had them in stock. The second I dropped my car off he immediately started working on it. Ontop of everything his pricing was beyond fair. Would recommend to anyone.

I went this morning to get new windshield wipers on my Mercedes and was told they could order them and instal them the same day. They called me back and changed them within 15 minutes. Excellent customer service. Highly recommend. Great prices.

These guys saved us. Our Nissan rouge was stuck in our garage for months and A1 worked their magic and were able to get it towed and they managed to figure out what was wrong in the same day. It had been running terribly for months prior to completely dying and other mechanics couldn't figure out the issues. They fixed everything: battery, rotors, control arm, brakes and they even did the oil change and inspection - great service, and the car runs better than ever! Highly recommend!

You have to have faith when your car's engine "HOT OIL" message comes on and you can barely keep your transmission in gear to engage the engine. Far from home, driving down the Palisades, I gripped my Subaru's steering wheel hoping I'd make it 'somewhere' while scanning for a station with a mechanic. I puttered into two which both told me to keep going. (couldn't they see how desperate I was?) I drove onto Lemoine St and just as I got to the major entrance to the GW bridge, I looked at the last biz on the left and took a sharp turn into an adjacent driveway. It wasn't a gas station and the sign said Auto Repair so I was hopeful. What a lucky shot. Inside there was a big man named Avi, the owner, and Brell, a young woman who was keeping everything organized. They asked me what was wrong which I explained but for the next 90 min or so I sat in their cool tiny office while very few words were spoken. Turns out, the connection which feeds oil to my transmission was broken and oil was leaking everywhere. I had a gut feeling that Avi was going to solve my problem and sure enough, a man was already under my car repairing the hose. Eventually I piped up and asked Avi for the charges. He waved his hand. Unbelievably, his price was $275.00 for a few hours of rush work and new trans oil. Not only did he have an "I'm in business to help people" attitude, he's clearly not in the business of ripping people off. What a find!!!

I go there especially because the service is great and price is very reasonable. The owners help me understand whichever issues my car has, and I always leave satisfied. I came in today with a few small issues in wheels and some concerns, and the service was quick and effective.

My 2020 Ram 1500 got damaged. All the other auto body shops tried to rip me off. Thank goodness for A1! They treated me like family- my truck looks amazing and was repaired faster and cheaper than the other guys quoted! I highly recommend A1!
