Kedrion bioplasma has closed both centers in Colorado and told all employees that they will not have a job come Dec 15. 2 wks before Christmas. Don't work nor donate for them. This company doesn't care about their donors or employees and make it very clear that patients who need this are not important. Only the CEO pockets are the only thing important.

Kedrion Biopharma Inc Owns Kedplasma which is a plasma donation center scattered throughout the US. I visited their Sanford Fl center yesterday to donate and everything was fine until It was time to donate. The phlebotomist I had must have been a newbie. He missed my vein upon realizing he didn't stick me correctly he called over a co worker to help after about 2 mins of going back and forth with her because it was time for her to get of the clock she finally decided to put on her coat to assist my original phlebotomist neither were able to get me flowing correctly so a third phlebotomist came to help he stuck me a second time but by that time the blood had clotted in the machine which caused them to stop the whole process and send me home. I was there from 4pm to 7:30pm and was compensated $20. Mind you I was a new/returning donor I should have received $125.00. If the phlebotomist handle the problem in a timely manner instead of arguing amongst each other I would have been able to donate. I have been a donor for 2 years and I have never dealt with this in any other center. I will not be returning to this center. My plasma helps to save lives and the time I spend donating is valuable to me.
