If I could post 0 stars I would. I was told that I had a unit at the price I submitted to rent for a year and essentially they pulled the offer out from under my feet and wouldn't tell me where I needed to be to get the unit. It felt very shady and morally wrong. DO NOT RENT / BUY FROM THEM. I worked with Nelson and think he's a horrible person.

Nelson Chen and his agency did such an amazing job for us! We could not have hoped for a better agency and people to work with! He coordinated and worked with the renovator for fantastic results which resulted in us accepting an offer immediately! I would highly recommend anyone to work with them! This mother and son duo are the rudest, most unkind, unprofessional agency.Lorna is so cold that she seldom sees her own daughter who she locked away in an institution. It’s no wonder her husband left for another woman. Lack of morality.If you enjoy being given the cold shoulder, then this agency is for you.The worst in Bergen County.

I have used the services of the Chen Agency for the last twenty years. Having Nelson Chen represent you, whether purchasing or selling a property, is synonymous to ensuring that you will receive the best advice and services. His approach is direct but respectful, and he is always on time or early. As a seller, Nelson’s keen eye for aesthetics and the team of service providers at his disposal helped me to ready my property for sale in the most effective and efficient way possible. As a buyer, his vast and thorough knowledge of the real estate market (I wasn’t surprised to learn that he is a graduate of Wharton School of Business and former president of NJ MLS) as well as specific information that he has of all the local properties ensured that a sound investment would be made. His ability to clearly and quickly understand the aesthetics, requirements, as well as wants of others is at times uncanny. Just as in the insurance commercials, I know I’m in good hands with the Chen Agency and can relax as I know Nelson will do all the hard work to make sure my wants are realized. Sophie helped me sell my parents' home in Fort Lee in the summer of 2021. Right from the start Sophie showcased her experience and knowledge of the real estate market landscape by providing me with several comparable homes that have sold and/or are currently listed on the market to give me a rough idea as to how to price my home.She then came up with practical ways and suggestions to improve both the interior and exterior of the home that fit my budget. She also recommended great contractors for the jobs who did a fantastic job with all the improvements.Lastly, we were able to get several offers after just 1 open house and were able to finalize an offer above the asking price after just 7 days of the house being listed!Throughout this whole process, Sophie was very responsive to all my questions and concerns and very proactive in communication.
