Been going to Kings, Florham Park, for as long as they've been in business. I find their prices very high, but make up for it in their friendly staff. For Christmas Eve, we ordered King's Entertainment Platter and Sloppy Joe Platter. The Sloppy Joe Platter had sandwiches that were so dried out, that even the cole slaw couldn't help them. Won't order them again.

No help at registers. Rude staff. Staff texting and ignoring customers. Open registers to ring up staff then close to customers. Over-priced. Plastic platter $45?? Ask for help rude responses

Today my wife and I stopped in to pick a few items up. Check out was staffed by Fay. Who is the most delightful person. Who called another amazing Kings staffer over from customer service. Who set us up with the kings app so can follow sales items etc. it was absolutely the best grocery experience we’ve ever had. Amazing team. We will be back because of them. A 12 out of 10 for sure.

So overpriced. You have to buy your own bags for $1.99, not good

It is a very expensive grocery store. Only stop because of the time.

I shop here mostly for convenience ... very close to home, very clean store and wonderful employees. Here comes the however, prices are much higher than other neighboring stores like Shop Rite or Stop and Shop. ... you have to be extra careful to check expiration dates.Mamy times I have found that the product has an expired date. Their fruits are over ripe. Then there is this ... they show sales likwe today two..cantelopes for $5 ...when arriving at the cashier she asks if I have the Kings app on my phone ... if not no sale price!!! Are you kidding me This is absurd. Many of the people who shop here are seniors, like myself ... we don't have the apps ..that's twice the same scenarios has happened. You would think the cashier or someone she could direct me to at the customer service station would help a senior get the app on her phone .... other seniors I spoke to upon leaving the store who overheard the conversation said the same thing and added, I guess Kings is trying to bring in the younger set. C'mon Kings ... an app to get a sale price ... not a good idea in "our" opinion. have been a Kings customer for many many years and am a Member receiving other sale prices ..why do I need the app to get the other savings. So say the other seniors too. So what to do ...put the cantelopes and water and all those items that need the app back on your shelf. Get them somewhere else.Love the store ....however

Has a nice selection of food items, although on the expensive side. Self-checkout is easy and efficient.

Updating my review. A decent selection, nicely kept, but definitely overpriced for various things, although what supermarket isn’t these days. Since the renovations to the checkout area, they now have self-checkout with Apple Pay and touchless payment. It’s certainly a nice addition to the store, and I now find myself going to Kings more these days.

I really love the Lentil soup at the soup bar! I only wish it was available more often!

I shop here out of convenience and 8 out of 10 times something I buy at least one thing that is already expired or after the sell by/good by date. It's quite annoying. I just bought a pack of thawed impossible meat and it expired in October of 2022.If you come here make sure to check the expiration dates!

They sell almost expiring organic milk (with much higher than anywhere price)Bought one on Dec 24th and didn’t notice it is expiring on Jan 3rd.Opened it in the morning of Dec 25th and warmed it with microwave. Taste totally bitter and never had such bad taste of milk, not even expired one.

All of the the meat and produce looked amazing. Staff are rude and act like asking them where an item is is the biggest inconvenience. I’ve never felt more uncomfortable shopping in my life

Clean store and quality foods, but the prices are much, much higher than other supermarkets. Think of this not as a supermarket, but as a convenience store with fresh food. If there was a major supermarket in Florham Park this store would be out of business.

I love locally and have shopped at this store for the last 30 years and always loved the staff and the items they carried. However since the new takeover it is so disappointing they no longer carry basic items they always had the layout is terrible and they are selling food on shelves that is expired. The shelves are barely restocked the cashiers are not personable and it just keeps getting worse. This was a local store most people knew and loved and now I'd rather drive 15 mins out of my way to another store then walk across the street.

i just went kings sometimes we do the shopping with my husband here, but just today, we did the shopping for a roasted chicken, and only one tray 16$???? How is it possible that $16 just for a rotisserie chicken, nowhere else, costs that price, how is it possible? if we understand that inflation, but it can't cost 16$ either.
