SUPER hard to find a great auto repair shop and genuinely, these are the most reliable, talented, and honest guys around. I only bring my car here and have been going for the last 5 years-- Frank, Mike, and Wilson are the absolute best and I've never had any problems since going here. Can't thank you guys enough!

Thorough, reliable, honest, high quality work. Frank’s Auto took the time to investigate an issue I was having with my car and found the cause of the problem. This was after a different garage couldn’t find the problem. Frank’s gave great advice and delivered quality work. I travel to go here - it is worth it.

It truly pains me to pen down a review like this, especially for a local establishment. A few months ago, I spent about a thousand dollars at Frank's Auto Repair, purchasing a battery and alternator. However, when I recently approached them due to concerns with the battery (died twice in last month), the experience was, to put it mildly, disheartening.When they initially offered to replace the battery but voiced concerns about potentially losing money if Interstate were to reject the exchange, I showcased my empathy towards their position. Despite being the aggrieved party, I told them I'd be willing to wait and see if the battery dies again. My intent was clear: I didn't want this mom and pop shop to face potential monetary loss. This gesture was not out of ignorance but out of respect for small businesses.Yet, the gratitude I expected was met with an astonishingly hostile response from the owner. When I was asking him questions on how can figure out it's truly the battery and were discussing options if in future the battery died, he brusquely remarked, "now I'm pissed and annoyed. I'll just replace the battery." While they did offer the replacement, given the abrasive attitude and utter lack of decorum, I opted to walk away. It became a matter of principle over money.For those considering Frank's Auto Repair for their automotive needs: be prepared. It seems the quality of customer service may not match the money you invest. I hope this feedback serves as a catalyst for much-needed introspection and change.

My experience with Frank's Auot was fantastic. I had to get a tow truck far from my usual mechanic. Typically they dont do walk ins but thankfully Max was able to fit me into his schedule and fixed my car within 3 hours. Very reasonably priced and great service. Would highly reccomended!

I've been going to Frank's since he moved to the Florham Park location. He had Dan Stiner working for him, who was one of the most knowledgeable and outgoing mechanics in the area. Since then, Frank, Mike and Max have kept my old clunkers on the road and they thoroughly check out a car that I'm thinking of buying before I do.
