The worst pharmacy in New Jersey. You will wait for hours even if you have an appointment. Terrible customer service, total chaos behind the counter. Avoid at all costs.

By far the WORST EXPERIENCE. I have rsv and the flu desperately needed my medication and this pharmacy declined my military benefits card and told me that it doesn’t count as an insurance card. 40% of America uses tricare however this pharmacy will not accept it for no reason. Had to get higher ups involved and this situation was still not handled appropriately. Do not go here

Set up appointment for a Covid-19 test. Received reminders in advance of the test. Arrived a few minutes early. Taken right in for the testing by Jeff, the lead pharmacist. Jeff explained the testing procedure and was personally doubly protected with mask and shield. Jeff provided insight on options to pursue should the results display positive. He was professional and thorough. Thought everything ran smoothly and results were in my inbox within the hour. One can't ask for better than that!

Title: Nightmare at Walgreens FlemingtonI recently had the misfortune of visiting the Walgreens in Flemington, and it was undoubtedly one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a pharmacy. To start, they handed me the wrong brand of medicine, a mistake that should be inexcusable for a pharmacy. When I brought this to their attention, expecting a quick resolution, I was met with a surprising lack of concern. Not only did they refuse to take back the incorrect medication, but the employees displayed an astonishing level of apathy towards their mistake. The attitude of the staff members was absolutely appalling. It was clear that customer satisfaction is not a priority for them. I felt like I was inconveniencing them by expecting them to rectify their own error. This kind of negligence and indifference is exactly why this Walgreens has earned its one-star rating. What's even more frustrating is the lack of alternative options in the convenient location of Flemington. It's disheartening to realize that there are no other pharmacies nearby, leaving customers with no choice but to endure the subpar service at this Walgreens. My advice to anyone considering using this pharmacy: beware. Check your medication right there in the store before leaving because, if you encounter an issue, the chances of them taking responsibility and providing a solution seem to be close to zero. Save yourself the frustration and potential health risks, and explore other options if possible. It's unfortunate that a place meant to provide essential healthcare services falls so short in basic customer service and competence.

Unprofessional and rude is my experience of the staff at this Walgreen's. I will not go there again, and am transferring my prescriptions to another pharmacy.

Now I understand why this Walgreens has such a low rating. I've lived in Flemington for over 30 years, I just moved to Pennsylvania. I was in town visiting my mom and attempted to get a prescription filled here, that is out of stock in most pharmacies in the area. The doctor who prescribed the prescription is a New Jersey doctor. But because my address is in Pennsylvania the pharmacist told me I need to go "closer to where I live". He refused to fill it even though he had it in stock. It's not a state law, it was his opinion because he didn't want to fill a prescription for me. It makes no sense. If there was some kind of law or rule I would understand and there would be no reason for me to write this review or contact corporate. But because he just felt like I needed to go closer to where I live because that was his opinion is an absolute disgraceand waste of my time and I hope no one shops at this walgreens.

Doctor put in a script for me to get an inhaler on Friday. Out of stock. Fine, it’s not an emergency, it’s just meant to help me sleep since I’ve been having breathing issues that have been keeping me up. App says I can talk to the pharmacist for a single dose since it is out of stock. I wait until Monday since I understand they are probably backed up due to the recent smoke. I go in today to ask about the single dose, the blonde pharmacist immediately starts on me that ‘you should go to the hospital or not wait until you’re out if you’re having an asthma emergency.’ This was my first dose of this, I couldn’t have possibly had any backups, nor did I say it was an emergency. I just asked if it was possible to have the single dose to get through the night, until they would have them back in stock, since the app said it was possible. She then asked ‘have you ever seen what an inhaler looks like?’ In a really short tone. I only asked because the app said it might be possible. I am not a medical expert, I had no way of knowing it wouldn’t be possible. If she had just said they couldn’t do it, it would have been fine, I just didn’t feel comfortable being given a lecture when I just asked kindly. Especially after waiting a whole weekend already. Will be switching pharmacies. This is not the first issue I have had here.Edit: wanted to specify that, at no point, did I ask for my script. I understood it was still out of stock, all I said was ‘my script is out of stock, is it possible to get a single dose to get through the night?’. First woman (not the blonde) I think assumed I was asking for the inhaler. Told me it wouldn’t be ready until tomorrow. Again, I said that was fine, and asked if the single dose was possible then. She then says they are closed tomorrow (for the 4th, which I understand. I again didn’t ask for my script/when it would be ready at any point in time.) Then the pharmacist came over and we had the above interaction. I understand now it isn’t possible to get the inhaler in a single dose (I had incorrectly assumed they might have done disposable ones, I’m not sure why the app told me it was possible and I hope that is fixed soon.)Another edit, now Wednesday: Walgreens is now saying I never had a prescription for the inhaler. This was not the case before I had the above interaction with the pharmacist, and is happening now that I am attempting to switch to the Walmart pharmacy down the street. I literally can still see the inhaler prescription in my Walgreens app. I don’t understand how I had the script on Monday, and it was ready to be filled as soon as it was in, and now all of a sudden it ‘doesn’t exist’ now that I want it transferred. Awful. I also sent an email to corporate about it the same day. Just received a call, from the flemington Walgreens, asking what happened to follow up on the complaint. The pharmacist, who I had the above issue with, was the one who called. Inappropriate, uncomfortable, unprofessional.

I had to give one star but I would give zero. I'm speaking specifically about the pharmacy and whoever the blonde girl is because she thinks she's Gods gift and she's trash. Held my non narcotic prescriptions hostage for lack of a better word, she assumes people are junkies and she is rude and her customer service is absolutely deplorable. She has no home training and it shows you do not get a career in helping people to be a condescending Karen. I was with this pharmacy for 12 years now I advise everyone to go to the Clinton location until at the very least she is terminated. Sorry sweetie if your life sucks but you don't have a right to treat people how you do. I also complained to corporate after seeing her mistreat the elderly especially. She is a horrible person who doesn't have a place in this field and should find something else. Disgusting.

I ordered a prescription on the Walgreens app and received a confirmation it went through. I never got a notice it was ready, so I called. The woman on the phone in the pharmacy was rude, Condonasending, and abrupt. No one wanted to be treated like that, especially when not feeling well and needed a prescription. Deplorable customer service.

Rude and lazy pharmacy staff. Act holier than thou and think they know more than everyone. For instance, I was just told I wasn’t eligible for a booster vaccine and I most certainly was. Haha can you imagine? A pharmacy deliberately turning customers away who are trying to get vaccinated… what a joke. Take my advice and avoid this location at all costs.

If you need a prescription go anywhere else. I sat there for 50 minutes before finally getting $5 worth of medication. I listened to the blonde behind the counter be rude to her co-workers and say when referencing me then tell him to find a different pharmacy next time. So I will. Whoever that is should be fired. You can't be rude to the customer You just made wait for almost an hour.

I am baffled at the incredible unprofessional pharmacy staff at this Walgreens in Flemington. One would assume that working in an industry of healthcare you would find compassion and customer service at minimum. It is painful to accompany my husband every month to get his medications here. It is appalling. There is a very professional male there but when dealing with any of the female millennial staff you get the eye rolling, stiff lip and hostile attitude. One of them even used the f*** word during one visit as she got agitated that my husband insisted that he talked with a colleague earlier that had confirmed the medication order being ready. No manners, no training. I am appalled. Every month my poor husband has to brace against rude staff simply to get his needed medication. This is unacceptable. GET BETTER TRAINED, COMPETENT pharmacy staff. Better yet, train people to have basic human manners especially since they are in an industry dealing with people likely to have health issues coming for their medication. To offer a star was being generous in this review.
