Last week: I recently adopted a bunny and was looking for a veterinarian that cared for small, exotic pets and Flemington Veterinary Hospital was recommended and very convenient , being 3 miles from my home. I decided to first bring the rabbit I already had for a few years to get checked since she hasn't been seen since her spay ( different vet). At this initial visit, I was immediately turned off upon walking in. The front desk staff is not very friendly and they were annoyed with me, accusing me of not filling out my paperwork prior to the appointment even though I told them that I did fill it out and submitted it last night. Their internet has been down for many hours, due to a storm, and the receptionist didn't want to accept that the outage may be the reason they didn't receive my information. Anyways, she obtained my information and we moved along. My appointment was with Dr. Betz. He was not friendly either. Didn't introduce himself, got annoyed when I asked him for his name. After his assessment of my rabbit, he began charting with a concerned look upon his face. I asked if everything was ok, and he told me he would get to me once he was done charting. Being in healthcare myself, I found his demeanor cold and didn't care much for his bedside manor. He did not go into any detail on how to care for rabbits nor did he go into detail on the rabbits physical assessment, just told me she looked good. I left the exam room feeling like I was an annoyance to him and he doesn't care much for his line of work. When I checked out, I asked the receptionist to please make sure my appointment for my new rabbit was not with him. She assured me that she would change it to Dr. Pacifico. Today: I just brought our new rabbit in for his initial check up with Dr. Pacifico and OMG!!!! It's like night and day from my experience last week. The front desk staff isn't that welcoming, but Dr. Pacifico make up for them. He is so friendly, caring and took his time to go over his assessment of my rabbit and listened to my concerns carefully and provided excellent feedback. Dr. Pacifico is most likely the reason this practice stays afloat. I am so impressed with him and his passion for small animals. He mentioned to me that his daughters are involved with our local 4H and I could really tell that not only is he passionate about animals, but so are his children. His passion is innate and definitely what makes up the majority of this man's DNA. I am considering him as a vet for our doodle.

I wouldn't recommend this practice. The office staff is rude and unorganized. I had a terrible experience with this Vet practice and would avoid at ALL COSTS. They failed me at so many levels, I can't even begin to describe it all. There are better Vets in the area. I wouldn't recommend going here.

This is the absolute best vet in our area and I highly recommend them! All of the staff is so kind and considerate but Dr Pacifico is superb! He had to give us some difficult news but his kindness and patience has made this whole situation so much better. You can tell he actual cares about us and I appreciate that.

Thank you Dr. Devon Seidman for taking care of my fur child Renny when he wasn’t feeling well. He’s currently resting on the couch and will hopefully feel better soon again! I greatly appreciate you making me feel at ease!

Amazing, kind, and caring staff. They really go the extra mile here for your animal and are constantly doing innovative things and thinking outside of the box. We drive 50min just to see them. Marty has been our vet since before I was born lol (I’m 25 now). So it’s been a LONG time that we have been with them and we are never disappointed. The times when we have to see other vets or I wind up at other vets, oh man, I am very much so reminded to be grateful for this place!

My first visit was with a woman doctor. I don't think she is still at this office. I had a new chihuahua puppy and his soft spot was not closed yet. She asked me why I would take a dog like that. I told her if one of your boys had something wrong with them, would you refuse to be their mother. Luckily my dog is just fine today. I left the office in tears that day. i did tell the front office about my experience and they were very kind.

We can't thank Dr. Jessica enough for helping us with our dog, Schultz, when he ate a washcloth. She counseled us through everything even when we had to bring him to Crown For a special procedure. She was always available to talk to us even though he was at another vet, just to give us a second opinion. Thank you Dr. Jessica for your expert advice and kindness.

I have been going to Flemington animal hospital for almost 20 years and they have always provided the best service that is possible. They treat my furry children so well and my babies always behave so well, it must be magic. Marty and his staff are the best, so much so that I travel from Manhattan to bring my pets for the treatment. Thanks Jim

Dr. Betz is Amazing! Diagnosed a gastro problem with my prior pooch after repeated visits to another Vet. He listens, takes action and is compassionate. Love him.

I've been taking my dogs here for 30+ years. All of the vets are wonderful. They are compassionate and I trust them with my dogs 100%. Their staff is the best. Wouldn't feel comfortable going to anyone else.

My dog is not a regular patient of this practice, but I took him here two times last week to get an international travel exam with Dr. Redin. We just moved to the UK, which has very strict animal health requirements--and very strict documentation requirements--but Dr. Redin was amazing to work with the whole time. She was warm, personable, and knowledgable when examining my mini poodle, and she was very attentive with the paperwork. Everything went super smoothly with the move, and I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Redin for similar health exams or general veterinary check ups. Thank you!!

As always the best veterinary clinic my pets have gone to. Dr Pacifico is an excellent and experienced vet who has done wonders for my pets, and listens to my concerns .Very reasonable prices, speedy appointments , excellent service by all the vets here. 5 stars . Will never go anywhere else.
