I left this place for several reasons.
1. The place is very small and there are not enough machines.
2. At the reception there is an elderly man who is quite racist, someone asked him if he spoke Spanish and he made a bad face and shaking his head he said No. The lady wanted information, I was arriving and I translated the man's concerns to the man. she. He did not show the slightest interest in helping her by finding someone to help her or saying come on a certain day or at such a time or call an even number that would speak English. But he just turned around and started moving paperwork as if evading the future client.
3. I gave the number to a friend and when she called, this same man answered, and upon hearing her speak in Spanish, he threw the phone at her. It was why I was with her.

The equipment is much better now and arranged better.
-1 star as the Bathrooms are always a water park. Floors and countertops are always covered in waterl. It's a lawsuit waiting to happen.

Pretty mid gym even by planet fitness standards. It’s a small gym that is always crowded. The employees don’t ever refill the paper towels so we can properly wipe down equipment. A lot of the equipment is old and breaks a lot. I’ll be taking my business to a different planet fitness.

I like it but when will they clean the top of the gym? We are working out and breathing years of dust and who knows what else will update if they ever clean it. the pic does not do justice. The entire gym ceiling and air systems are covered in a thick dust.

The equipment is ok some work and some doesn't. The WOMEN'S bathroom is gross. hair from days in the shower. the garbage is next to the shower. so when women have their monthly curse. its disgusting. because the trash is not taken out on a daily. so you smell the nasty old pads while showering and gasping for air. I wish they had the hooks for the clothes so we can hang our clothes while showering. The today many members got to the gym early it was 6ish. the gym was closed. we all had to go to the North Bergen location. which by the way are cleaner and organized, another thing is the hand towels are always running out and no one comes to recheck. or make sure things don't needs to be refilled . not sure if they use water to sanitize but please guys. I know ya hate to throw out the trash and clean . but come on now..

We’ve called this location the last 2 days regarding AirPods that fell into a stair master machine. We’ve been told that they have to wait for “the guys” in order to get the case out. When we spoke to them yesterday and the girl who answered informed us that “the guys” would be there and that we should call later to get an update. I spoke to a girl today at 6:13 pm about an AirPod case and she knew exactly who I was and referenced the item and color of the case. She suggested I call back tomorrow and speak with Michelle (a manager) so that she can assign someone to look for the item. I asked the rep if the manager was made aware as it had been 2 days now and no one has been able to get the case. She informed me that Michelle had been texted about it, and that I should just call tomorrow. I said perfect, may I ask what your name is please so I can reference you when I speak to her. Her response was I don’t need to disclose that information. I manage a luxury spa in edgewater and standard customer service is to provide your first name when interacting with a guest. One it provides a sense of trust with the client. Two, it personalizes the call, lastly it is standard customer service etiquette. I then clarified that I in no way had any intention of complaining or anything of that sort. I just wanted to reference her since she knew exactly who I was and what I was trying to retrieve. She again refused. Not the best customer service. I would recommend recording your calls for training purposes. I also have an AirTag on my case so I know it’s still there. I just want my item back!

It's a good gym. They recently got new equipments which work great. Staff are nice. Bathrooms need more cleaning and maintaining.

Everyone is very friendly and very attentive, I love coming to this place, everyone makes you feel at home, but Mrs. Michelle was rude and at some point during the conversation she didn't know how to control herself and raised her voice, so what's wrong with her? , I don't pay for people there to be rude and leperate. Please someone put her in her place. I've been coming here for two years and no one has told me anything except her. Be considerate of people and don't hire people like that.
