“Pretty good selection keeping in mind this is a thrift store. Lots of good brands like Calvin Klein, tommy, mk, kappa, Ugg, Nike mixed in with things like h and m, fashion nova, shein, usually the better quality items. Most of the bad reviews are talking about selling, but you can't expect 100$ for used clothes even with a tag they need to make profit and pay their employees, they don't resell for much, same as you can't expect them to accept everything or they would have no room to put items.”

The shop owner and her staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgable, and helped us a lot during our experience! The clothes are all reasonably priced, well labeled, and easy to look through. No matter your budget or body type, I am sure you'll find something here!”

“I stumbled upon this consignment shop on elm st. In Oakland and couldn't believe my luck! This place is stuffed to the brim with new, + gently used apparel from all the best designers, Prada, Dior, gucci... I could go on and on. I almost didn't want to share! You've got to check this place out, consignment or shop or both! It's a gem.”

“The owner is an absolute sweetie and always has helpful insight on items and when they’re from! I bought a pair of prescription glasses from the 50s and within about 10 minutes of owning them, they broke! Because I’m a far distance from the store, she gave me a full refund through Paypal and didn’t even ask me to bring them back. The most charming place!!”

“Really amazing consignment store, especially baby girl items! It doesn't look like much from the outside but the store is FULL of items for all ages. You just need to give yourself time to sift through it all. The staff is lovely and more than willing to help bring items to you if you can't get around the racks. I even found some super cute fur vests for myself! Highly recommend this store for all my consignment huntresses out there! You leave feeling amazing with all the cute items at great prices! I'll certainly be back for summer shopping & beyond as my little one grows.”

“This shop has a lovely selection of antique and vintage items. I found just what I had been looking for and the price was very fair. The person who was at the shop (Jerry?) was a bit grumpy lol. So don't expect a lot of help when you go there. I guess it was nice that at least I didn't feel like I was being pushed into buying something.”

“PROS: this place was very nice. Historically a train station that was renovated into a shop. The staff was nice, prices were amazing, variety of items plentiful, everything was organized, and the items were good quality. There was even loads of parking CONS: the place wasn't all that big which caused congestion inside. OVERALL: I will definitely come back here as this is an amazing place to go thrifting”

“I stopped in this shop last week, loved the selection she has in mink coats, couldn’t make up my mind. Told her I would be back with a friend. When I came back she was closed and about to leave but when she saw me she opened her store back up and my girlfriend and I both brought minks that evening. I will be going back, as she was very sweet and kind & I love to get a great deal.”

“Arlene and her team are amazing! On February 25, 2023, I was on a road trip and found One Savvy Design on Yelp. Their merchandise is high quality and their customer service is second to none. They use Entrupy to authentic their bags and include the paperwork with your purchase. They have a huge collection of designers bags, unique clothes and stunning jewelry! It's impossible to leave empty-handed. Happy shopping!”

“Shoppers today may not believe this, but the building housing MyUnique Thrift Paterson is ACTUALLY 120 YEARS OLD! It's original purpose was as one of the first department stores in the history of downtown Paterson. It was originally known as Quackenbush and built to replace the original store which burned down in the Great Paterson Fire of 1902. Quackenbush took up six floors of the current building with each floor covering a different type of product. Walk to the middle of the current store, and you'll see a double spiral staircase. THAT IS THE ORIGINAL STAIRCASE. An architectural marvel. Although it has been refurbished several times, it has still held up over the decades. Today's store, while lacking the charm of the original, still pays homage to the spirit of Quackenbush. MyUnique Thrift Paterson has the standard of a true store of this kind. Good products at good prices. The service can be a bit impersonal but it's a different clientele these days.”
