“Another reason why you should shop local! Bought a few 5 gallons of paint a week ago. They told me as long as it's not opened. I can return anything I don't use. As you know a 5 gallon bucket of paint is quite heavy. I went to return 1 gallon and I could not find parking in front and there was no way I was getting it in my self from parking elsewhere. Called the store and they told me that they have a parking lot in the back and told me exactly how to get there off of Personette. 15 years I've been coming here and I have never known they had a lot in the back so a good FYI for everybody to know. I get there and the gentleman was waiting out back for me with a cart. I can never say enough good things about this store. They are always very helpful and they always go out of their way and this is why you should always shop local especially for paint at Paintland!!!”

“We had a roof put on our back room, which necessitated the removal of two pieces of vinyl siding. Our contractor got two replacement pieces and went ?somewhere? with a piece of ours, to match the color. He painted the two pieces with the "matched" paint and hung the vinyl back up. Not even close!! Our home is a creamy light yellowish and the paint was green. Paint supplier swore it was the same color and it looked ridiculous! We went to Sherwin Williams in Oakland with a piece of our siding and they nailed it to perfection! We covered up the ridiculous green and even used it to cover up other scratches, stains etc. Very happy and will definitely come back to the professional for all our paint needs!”
“I visited Red Star Paint for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I was interested in repairing a broken slat on a relatively new Hunter Douglas window treatment (not purchased at Red Star). Ryan was super helpful, so much so that he has managed to get Hunter Douglas to replace the entire window treatment at no charge to me. Incredible customer service, and I'll take all future paint/decorating business to Ryan from here on. Thank you!”

“Great paint, great service! I ordered Much Smarter interior paint and had it shipped. I was expecting it would take a little while to get it. After 3 days the owner called to apologize for it taking so long! I was amazed at the service. And the paint was perfect! Several people helped me paint a bedroom and everyone raved about the coverage, the quality, the lack of drips, and low odor, etc. After painting the whole room there was some odor and it did bother me a little but we aired it out and it seemed fine the next day. We did mix it a few times but it didn’t separate out like other paints have. And it has taken me a while, so I’ve been working from the same can for a few months.”
“It is impossible to find good customer service anymore but I found it here. I had been on the hunt for guidance and product to paint my older pool. Annette answered the phone and was friendly, conversational, and genuinely open to helping me find what I need. She informed me that her location did not have the (very) specific paint I needed for the pool, but she was certain another location would have it. I gave her my number honestly expecting that I would never hear back. She called me back (quickly) and informed me that another location had the paint and that she could get it there within 24 hours. She shared updates with me and followed through on her commitment. This paint store was the only store that could successfully get this paint for me. Then I went to pick it up on a Wednesday and the store was open EARLY which also never happens. I walked in at 6:50am when they opened at 7am. Normally a business would wait until 7:01 to unlock the doors. Charlie was so nice, also conversational, and helped carry the paint to my car. Thanks Annette and Charlie for being so great! I'll be back the next time I need paint.”

“The best Ricciardi there is!!! They have the biggest selection and most importantly, exceptionally knowledgeable on there products. A store runner by name of Jim I believe matched a formula for stain on some wood I had to refinish. He even tested the stain he made up on small piece of the same wood we replaced to match the old and it was beyond perfect. I'm extremely impressed. They did it all free as well. They go the extra mile and know their paints”

“I had the greatest experience on 8/3 the the Sherwin-Williams store in East Hanover. 3rd stop to find Pool Deck Paint that I could tint. Ta Da! Should have went here first. Tyrell was so helpful and patient. He suggested and offered different options and shared what other customers used. He was knowledgeable and would double check information with other associate if he didn't know. I APPRECIATED that instead of just fluffing! He even carried the 4 gallons to my car! Fully reccommend this store for your painting needs!!”
“I was not sure which type of paints, finishes and primer I was supposed to use in my exterior wood siding painting project. With a recommendation of a friend I went to Bloomington store. I showed the gentleman the condition of the house from my phone and he directly guided me to the right direction. I bought an oil based primer and low luster finish water based paint. He explained me that the oil based primer to hold the existing paint better so it doesn’t peel off under the new paint provide longer durability. And the paint finish is cleanable and also does not show the imperfections up to a certain points. He cleared all my concerns in my mind and I appreciate for those type of people who know what they are doing and also understand a customer’s need and guide them in the right direction. I would recommend here to everyone.”

“I used to just got to Home Depot for my hardware but after going to Jaeger in Verona NJ I will only use them from now on. The manager Frank is great and will help you and work with you in anyway possible. All the men and women are nice and helpful. But one employee Jason T was amazing. I had an issue with a delivery and he went above and beyond and personally took care of it. I dont care if I just need a $ 5 box of nails I will dive further just to use Jaeger. “Shopped the Bloomfield location for years. I've shopped via phone and in person and the customer service is impeccable. Currently, added Clifton store to my decor list, they sell wallpaper, and the Bloomfield location does not. Also, impeccable customer service. I live in an old home, with plaster walls that love to crack. Sherwin Williams has all the supplies need to make them look like new construction. It's Sherwin Williams in my walls or nothing.”
