Good Morning! I have spoken with the staff at both Fairfield and Fanwood locations, however I am hoping my words manage to reach the Parkers. My dog Ben was staying at the Fairfield location when my worst nightmare as a pet parent was unraveling. I am traveling for work and am across the country, not set to return until later in the week. Outside of the heroism of the first responders, humane society and good samaritans, I cannot say enough about K9 resort's personnel as well as policy/procedures in place. Friends and family always inquire why I opt to pay to board Ben while I travel. This incident answered that inquiry in and of itself. Your emergency plan went into effect and was implemented with the outcome we all desire for live saving events. So not only do I know my Ben will be happy,loved and well cared for while staying at the facility, he will be rescued should an emergency erupt, which in this scenario seemed to be unpredictable and to no fault of anyone. After hearing that my Ben was ok and survived, the care did not stop there. Being a panic stricken fur mom from thousands of miles away, the staff could not have been more understanding and patient with my calls, questions and emails. They were so kind and reassuring with the ability to answer every single question I had while tears in my eyes on the other end of the phone trying to keep my composure. I applaud you as the leaders of this corporation for instilling this professionalism and compassion down your hierarchy. I sent pastries to the Fairfield PD, as well as the Fanwood location and made a donation to Fairfield Fire. Please reach out to me if I can do anything from here forward to honor the K9 personnel from that night and who continue to treat my boy, as well as me, as if they know how much my dog means to me. Also should there be any recognition in time for the first responders, I would love to to be able to attend. As well as the reopening for Fairfield. I thank you again for your commitment to our lovely fur family members and for allowing me more time in life to love my boy Ben. With Gratitude,

My dog loves when I board her at K9. I don't do it often but when I pick her up she is happy, clean and not stressed. It also provides her socialization with other dogs which she doesn't get enough of.

Brewster must love his stays at K9 Resorts because he never wants to leave! Today when we got in the car he was so focused on another dog, and he was wagging his tail (must be a friend!)He must have so much fun at playtime since he is exhausted when he gets home.I know they take good care of him because he comes back happy and well fed. We definitely appreciate the bath before pickup because all that playtime makes for a stinky dog!One of the staff members mentioned to another client that they have a nickname they have for their dog, and with pictures on their phone to explain the nickname. I found that to be really charming.The facility is clean and well managed with many staff members on site.

Our Giant schnauzer just loves staying at K9! He enjoys group play, the food and snacks. Staff are always welcoming and really make an effort to accommodate him especially on short notice during busy holiday times. He comes home happy, refreshed and smelling great after a nice bath! K9 is a home away from home for our guy. I highly recommend this establishment if you're looking for a very nice place and dedicated staff to look after your loved one.

I take both my dogs to K-9 in fairfield for years. One of them has a GREAT time he is well socialized withzed with other dogs and comes home happy and exhausted. My other dog is older and skittish but the staff is so kind and considerate to make sure Lexie gets out and how some fun time. they come home bathed and smelling lovely! so glad I can relax on vacation knowing my furry kids are well taken care of - Bonita Areman

my Golden, Harper Lee, loves going here. sometimes she isn't so happy about leaving. the staff are wonderful and seem to enjoy spending time with her. she is only 11 months old so still has too much energy so playing with the other dogs gives her great interaction and tires her out. I wish they could add training to their services but other than that they are terrific

We love K9!!!!! Whenever we travel or have a big event we board our dog with K9 and we never have to worry! The facility is clean. The staff is friendly. You know it's great because when we get there our dog our dog gets so excited!

I have been taking my dogs (3) there for years. They LOVE it! My Biggie (bullmastiff) has stayed for a month while we were on vacation. They treat them like family.

This location is very clean, and the staff is super professional and warm. The manager took time to answer ALL my questions and concerns, which was a plus for me! We really enjoyed the tour they gave us. I didn’t post pics because this location will be undergoing renovation and will have state of the art EVERYTHING! I’m excited for them and can’t wait for my dog to experience the luxury they offer!

K9 resorts is a wonderful caring facility. Outside of normal daycare, we boarded our dog for a weekend right after she had a procedure in her foot. K9 did not hesitate in taking a pup with a cone, and gave her extra special attention. Top notch caring staff
