I used to use the store in Warwick this time I made the mistake of ordering my door and screen door from the store in Fairlawn, I waited over a month for the door, my contractor had to pick it up, when the door was installed we weee missing the mortised hole for the deadbolt, components were missing for the screen door as well, I paid for delivery and my contractor had to go lock it up to meet our deadline. My contractor called the manager Tim at the store said he would get back to him and still have not received a return call, the door is not what I ordered and the install has to rigged in order to make it work, the door is also opening the wrong way. Don’t think I’ll be going back to them again I paid over $4k for a door setup that I’m nit happy with and we still have items to adjust to make the door work properly.

Is there a 10-start rating? LOVE Kuiken Brothers! Over the years I purchased: solid fir interior doors for my 1908 home; Emtek (purple, cut-edge) glass door knobs and vine embellished escutcheon plates; beautiful, architecturally-correct casement trim for new windows; and sought guidance from all the friendly, helpful staff (from several locations in person or by phone) when planning projects. They offer a wide variety of high quality products, exceptional service, along with trusted knowledge ... which saves time and money.Recommended Kuiken to a friend who purchased casement molding to finish "finish" all the edges in her new condo. She's thrilled with the product ... so is the painter! Thank you for always being there to help me get the right products that look terrific and last.

Went in to put a $1500 down payment on a front door combo. Sales person I worked with was on a call. Told me he was too busy and going to "be a while". I asked what is "a while". Answer was "like an hour". No remorse or support from someone else. Left me like a chump. I walked out, ripped up the quote and threw it out in their garbage can. I will never walk into that place again, even so much to buy a SCREW. I wanted to GIVE THEM MONEY and they were too busy. Lowes... here I come. Mr. Kuiken would be rolling in his grave.

I have always stayed away from the big box stores for building materials and hardware. Since the 80's I have always dealt with Kuiken, primarily at the Emerson or Fair Lawn branches for building materials. PRICES ARE EQUAL TO OR BETTER THAN THE BIG BOX STORES. I recently dealt with Tom Kennedy at the Fair Lawn branch for purchasing Trex deck materials. My deck contractor's usual source for Trex was out of stock for two months or more. Tom was able to secure the necessary materials in less than a week. Delivery with their truck was on time and efficient. Communicating with Tom either in person,phone or email was always without any hassle. I highly recommend Kuiken.Very few businesses have this type of professionalism any more

You can buy 2x4s in Home Depot $4 cheaper than here. Kuiken is gauging prices. I still have account in there but I won’t buy there a thing
