“This is a place where all your nerdy, anime loving dreams come true. Staff is very nice and helpful all the time. Overall a great place to shop for your nerdy/geeky crafty needs.”
“Amazing hobby store with a tremendous selection, especially for RC cars. Matt is a gem of a guy. He spent nearly 45 minutes guiding my 11 year old son on purchasing his first Traxxas kit, masks, spray paints, brushes, decals and more. Even gave him some tips on assembly and painting while showing a couple of his own personal builds. A few weeks later, we had an issue with the car and he quickly helped diagnose the single screw that was the problem! Plus, a couple really cool slot car racing tracks in the back for $5/15 minutes. Old school place, gotta love it.”
“Great resource you can get almost anything here. I like that you can buy singles of things like specific pencils or brushes. Usually online you have to buy them in packs. Even if you just go in and look around you can often find something new that you want to try.”

2b Franklin Ave, Pearl River“An absolutely PEAR of an antique store in Pear River. Went on October 3, 2024. The owner was also such a wonderful human being, with the kindest smile, welcoming atmosphere and disposition. His store is packed full to the brim with treasures one could tell he genuinely loves. His passion for antiques and old things is evident. From artwork, pottery, toys, books, sculptures, kitchenware, silver, to military items and more, this antique store will surely have a lovely treasure for everyone to enjoy. Please go and see it for yourself! I HIGHLY recommended and cannot wait to be back.”
“Me and my friends love to go to the card store, and this one particularly. The service is amazing, prices are great and everyone in there is so kind. 10/10 experience you must try to visit”
“I have been doing business with them for a couple years, selling coins and gold jewelry. They are knowledgeable, patient and fair. I have lived in the area for several years and a friend recommended them. I would definitely recommend them as well; if you are looking to get cash for coins, gold or silver there pricing is fair and competitive.”
“Gary's great I've been going there since 1980 and every time I do if he doesn't have it the can usually get it. In fact I have to go soon I need flat cars.”
“My favorite card store I’ve ever been to since my 20 year collecting adventure began. Prices are stellar and Steve is just that “dude”. They have gaming events - primarily Magic and Yugioh - but have cards for everything else. Will be coming here continuously.”

304 Ridge Rd, Lyndhurst“Never been to a card store like this … absolutely insane selection. I’m forgetting the owners name but super cool dude. Bought 3 times in 3 weeks and he has good prices. Even got a few freebies. Spot is recommended for card enthusiasts!!”
“Awesome old school hobby store. The owners are super friendly, genuine enthusiasts, and very helpful.
The store is a goldmine of kits, and trains. Ask to head downstairs or out the back, there’s way more to the store than you’d expect.”

594 Union Blvd, Totowa“Family owned and operated Apollo flags has been assisting our fire department for over 20 years. Always there to help with guidance and what type of flags to get with the current styles and their service is also second to none. They also help with custom orders”
“Chris and his staff were professional and so helpful. They were very patient while I was making my decision regarding the size of my future flag and pole. It’s such a beautiful site to watch the flag fly proudly as well as a tribute to my Dad who was a Veteran. Thank you AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL FLAGS & FLAGPOLES!”

713 Bloomfield Ave, Verona“Great shop to visit if you are into Funko Pops. As soon as you enter, you are surrounded by pops everywhere. Most shops just carry a million commons but Wize Guys carry a huge variety of pops from old to new. Definitely worth a visit!”
“Hollywood Heros has two things going for it. 1) An amazing, incredible selection of toys, new and vintage. 2) The nicest owners possible. My 12 y.o. son is a huge Star Wars collector, and he discovered HH on Yelp about. year ago. We've gone maybe a dozen times now even though it's an hour round trip. We often find rare and impossible to get items here and if it's not on the shelves, it's probably in their basement, so just ask. We became friendly with Jordan and Val on our trips there, and Jordan has been especially gracious. He always has time to talk, answer questions, and be friendly. Even when we come to just window shop, we still have great talks. Recently my son was looking for an ARC-170 gunship, and Jordan and Val had just gotten one in that had missing parts, and they gave it to my son as a thank you for being a loyal customer. It made my son's month. The store is a block from the central shopping district, so when we go we get bagels or Korean chicken and make a day out of it, or go the few blocks to Trader Joes. I know a Trader Joes isn't a selling point for a store specifically, but as a parent of someone who loves shopping here it's nice to have a cute town that can be part of the experience.”
“Time Warp used to be the greatest game store in NJ. It was cluttered but it had EVERYTHING, from indie RPGs to weird board games to minis. I used to play board games here every Friday night, and the community was amazing; it was a home away from home.
Unfortunately, the owner passed away a couple years ago and the store is very different (though the awesome and welcoming community persists). Now the store is much less cluttered and has more comfortable gaming space. But the new owner’s approach is… well they only care about CCGs. I play wargames here most weeks, and I make an effort to buy something every time I’m there because I’d like to keep the store going as a friendly place to play.
But it’s not easy. The stock of board games appears to be ever dwindling, and they flat-out don’t stock board wargames anymore. I think they sell some D&D books, but no interesting indie RPGs. The Warhammer selection is barely refreshed and not at all responsive to what people at the store play or want to play. And I swear, they haven’t restocked their paints in a year. I have to go to other stores to get even the most basic paints.
The staff is as friendly as the community, and I get it, Magic and Pokemon are cash cows. But they’re leaving (a lot of) money on the table by neglecting every other type of gaming. It’d be nice if Time Warp once again showed its regulars as much love and loyalty as they show it.”

1660 Rte 23 Waynechester Plaza, Wayne“I needed to have photos framed and went to my local Michaels' . The woman that helped me was the same that patiently helped me two years ago with another project I needed framed. I had a lot of leg pain, and she could not have been more helpful or kind. Brought me out her stool so I could sit, and kept moving on the project. While she was measuring, another woman shopping said to me "This woman is a gem, she has helped me before." Could not agree more, wish I caught her first name, but I believe her surname is Matano? Just cannot thank her enough. Chris B.”
“Stumbled upon this place from a referral and decided to bring my Pokemon card collection. Met up with an individual John and he was super helpful and very nice. Not only were the very fair with their pricing but they also had an amazing selection of Pokemon cards and other trading cards. All in all my experience was wonderful and I would highly recommend going to this shop in the future!”
9AM - 8PM
545 NJ-17, Paramus“I love the store and the discounts they always have! My only complaint is the fact that having up to 10 registers lines why theres only two registers open ? It doesn’t make sense when there is more than 10 people waiting in line and you see associates just standing or walking around.”
“Love going here to get cards, you always get a fair deal with cards. Usually up to date with packs as well, have had better luck getting hobby boxes here than anywhere else. Highly recommend this shop.”
“While i am not into most of the items this store specializes in, when i do need supplies for a project this store is excellent. I do embroidery & when i was looking for specific colors to finish my art, this store had every possible color thread i could possibly hope for & many other types that gave me ideas for future projects!”
“I went for a AA battery operated clock work to replace one that died a peaceful end. Needed assistance find the clock works. I installed it and it worked. Another positive Michael's experience”

“Great place for Coins , Pokemon, and sports cards. Steve is a guy with a lot of knowledge of the 3 main products he sells. I’ve never gone there for coins but that’s what the majority of his business is I would think. Myself I don’t do Pokémon but I’m big into sports cards. Steve has a huge selection of sports card singles and prices that won’t break your wallet. But my surprise came when I walked in and saw all of the wax mostly retail baseball nba and nfl. But he has boxes that are from last year as well as the most recent boxes that have hit the stores and you can’t find anywhere. Not bad prices considering where he’s located it’s almost impossible to buy sone of the boxes at that price without driving 25 miles to match his price. I almost didn’t want to write a review because i was nervous my secret would get out about Steve’s Coin shop not only having coins, that the boxes will all be gone. But im writing this because Steve and his over 30 year old shop is a diamond in the no sports cards rough. So I would recommend this shop 10/10 times and I’d travel up to a hour to get to Steve’s.Keep up the good work Steve and hide some boxes for me because if people read this I don’t think you’ll have any left! Thanks SteveAdam Crosson”
