I'm pretty sure I got less gas than I was supposed to. And now looking at the reviews I'm not the only one who feels that way

Dishonest. Attendant thought I wasn't paying attention and charged me for 17.5 gallons of gas for an 18 gallon tank that was already ~1/3 full when I pulled in. Recommend avoiding.

Was in a rush to finish my lawn, went to gas station to fill a new larger tank I just purchased recently. Gave attendant the tank and as I was removing nozzle, he stated no need to do that, Ok. First time I ever saw this, they had prefilled gas tanks, he took mine and place a full tank in my trunk, ok my tank is new and the tank looked somewhat new. $14 bucks he states, as I hand him the $20 I said how is it $14 bucks, he said they are filled with premium gas, why do I need premium for my mower, ok even with 3 gallons it would be $12. Oh and he does have any singles, only 10’s and 5’s, squeeze another dollar out of me. I was in a rush, gave home 14, will never go back. I checked the tank it only holds 2.25 gallons.

Excellent auto maintenance/repair shop. Prompt, friendly service. Expert service that is often better than that of dealerships, and much less expensive.

This is a dishonest business. The attendant tried to double charge before even being able to confront him about it, he pulled out money essentially admitting he had done it. He then tried to pay me in cash less than what I was owed. After several exchanges about how much he owed me, he finally reimbursed me. This is not the first time this has happened. I would suggest confirming the total and get a receipt.I followed up with the Fair Haven police about this matter and they were disparaging and useless.

I have lived in Fair Haven my whole life and Valero has always been terrible. On two different occasions I asked for $20 worth of gas and they "accidentally" filled up my tank. I do not go there unless it is an absolute necessity. My most recent trip was, as I was completely on empty. I had pulled up and rolled down my window and the gas attendant reached in my car, grabbed my shoulder, leaned in, and with a smirk asked how I was doing tonight. I went home furious, told my mother- to which she responded "Oh yeah, they've touched me too." Do not go here.

If I could give my experience a zero star I would. I was in the process of completing a trip for a ride sharing service when I pulled in for $10 worth of gas. I was charged this amount on my debit card but did not receive any gas. When I pointed out to the attendant that my gas tank was still on empty he became aggressive and started raising his voice saying he gave it to me. I have a 14 gallon tank, at $3 a gallon this would put me at roughly a quarter of a tank which I clearly did not have. In an effort to save the passenger from the experience I told the attendant I would be back for the gas. I completed the trip and returned 20 minutes later and asked for the gas to be put in my tank. This is when he became increasingly belligerent and was yelling and invading my personal space with his hands. I told him I did not want to argue and just wanted what I paid for. I contacted the local police who asked me about the experience I just described and then asked him separately. This attendant, who is also the owner, claimed I never had anyone in my car. I have the information for my ride on my phone so not only is he a dishonest liar but he is also not too sharp. The officer claimed it was a he said he said and claimed I could have driven off a quarter of a tank of gas in 20 minutes. That would mean combined highway and city at the least I would had to have driven 87 miles in 20 minutes! Needless to say the attendant wanted to seem like a good guy at the end since he played the cop like a fiddle and gave me the $10 of gas. A truly awful experience where a business owner tries to take advantage of a situation when he perceives he can. Be cautious.
