I hired this company to test the water in my well. The first technician broke the water faucet flooding my basement. They charge $650.00 for the test. After I fixed and replacedThe faucet the next technician came. He had very limited knowledge, got three different readings for the PH of the water. The week before, another company adjusted the PH. I was surprised and took the sample to a pool company, whose reading was higher than NJ analytical! When I called them, they charged me another $100 for testing.Do not waste your money!

I have used NJ Analytical for my clients for many years with satisfactory results, despite the bad reviews. I will no longer recommend them. My client had to pay up front (which we have never done before) and an inspection was scheduled. They never showed up all day. They were called and the person answering said they were new and had no knowledge of anything. Two more calls were made and no answers given. Now my client had to stop the payment on the pre-payment.

Awful experience. We were told 10-14 business days for a result. We are selling and need the results in order to get our C of O for closing. It's been 5 weeks (over 25 business days!) and get nowhere every time we try to call. A couple weeks ago they sounded like they were going to be helpful, then we stopped getting return calls. Last update was over a week ago. This is completely unacceptable. Use another company, especially if you're pressed for time.

This lab should be investigated by the DEP. They gave is incorrect lab reports. They do not answer the phone or emails. When we do get in touch, everyone is rude and does not answer any of our questions. If anyone knows how to go about reporting this lab, please let me know!

Do not use this company, unreliable, continual mistakes, rude office manager Vinnie. Overall very bad experience and last thing you need when selling a house is more added stress with incompetent services. Sent to me and my lawyer someone elses results. First test was never processed, ordered close to a month out to be safe. Again do not use this company!

Vinny was absolutely rude and provided terrible customer service. I didnt hear a question he asked which was "where do you reside" and from there his tone was pure anger and impatience. How is someone like that allowed to work customer service. Very disappointed and slightly scared of ever calling back

I have had a similar experience to the other reviews below. I paid extra for the "full monty" water test for new well. This was an expensive test, but I wanted to know about anything that could be in the water. There were several areas that were confusing in the results - what the normal ranges were, how to interpret the read-out, etc., and one area where the report recommended follow-up testing. I tried getting in touch with them for over a month. Left vm for every name I could find on the report and not a single response back from them. Terrible customer service seems like a point of pride for them. If you are a chemist, you might do OK on your own, but if you need someone to talk to you about the results, find a different lab.

Results are unreliable. technician had to come back a second time to collect a sample. Lost a week between first sample and second sample and still had to wait an additional 10 days for results. First test results failed me for lead and PH. Needless to say the contract for the sale of my house fell through. I installed a water softener and stabilizer. Had a different company test the water before it went into the treatment systems and after. Test results came back clean for both the pre-treated and the treated sample. They cost me a few thousand dollars unnecessarily.

These guys are great. I waited until the last minute to get a well tested on a property that I'm closing on in a few days from now. They said they would get me the results in time if I wanted their rush service. That was a no-brainer, so I said Yes. The results came in today with time to spare. I can breathe easier and am grateful these guys came through. I highly recommend them.
