I got there 15 minute before my scheduled appointment. After being verbally abused by another client because I was reading work emails and silently moving my lips (I cant make this up). I had to wait almost 45 mins for the technician to show up for work and prepare. I was so incredibly stressed!. I did not walk out as I was looking forward to this and had taken the day off. While the technician did a good job - the overall experience was absolutely miserable. The Male Receptionist claims he told the client who verbally abused me that her behavior was inappropriate. For my money I should have been treated as if my business mattered.

I completely regret getting my husband a massage here for his birthday. I spoke with people there twice because the first person scheduled us with the wrong person for the service I wanted. they called me back and then I asked the second person two times i asked how much it would be so i could send him with enough money for it and the tip and it was $20.00 more when he paid ! So embarrassing!! Then the massage itself was awful. He said it felt awful and all she did was clear her throat. Ridiculous! Don't waste your money.

If I could rate a zero at this point I would. Just called the Marlton , NJ location to make an appointment and the receptionist hung up on me. I told her I needed a 90 min massage and she said when do you want to come in ? I asked what was the schedule like because you give them a day you want to come in then they tell you they have nothing available. SMH called back spoke to someone else then she says we have no 90 min massages available!! This always seems to be the case. I have at least 10 months of unused massages because the availability sucks!!!I have a membership but am truly getting ready to cancel it! The last couple of times I was fortunate enough to get an appointment the therapists talked the WHOLE time! Telling me about their problems smh! I told them I come to unwind and get away from my problems then I have to hear them Complaining! Unacceptable !!! Then the rooms are stuffy and they never change that Musac they play the same aggravating songs! Yes as I'm typing this I realize I'm done !!! I Don't Recommend!!! Save your money

This particular location really lacks in quality.I’m pretty sure my 90 min massage was the worst I’ve had in a very long time. She was kind of rough, didn’t use enough oil, and was very choppy with her flow. It was the furthest thing from relaxing.The ambience is quite run down in the rooms and bathroom. I had to listen to this fan plugged in running the whole time during my massage because my massage therapist said it gets stuffy…Massage Envy is already on thin ice with me…because I just don’t see the value. I would not recommend.

I never ever ever leave reviews but if your looking to get a facial I would look elsewhere. I arrived to mine yesterday and while staff was nice and so was my esthetician the quality of the facial was lacking. The mist machine was apparently broken and I was told that after I was undressed and in the bed. It was very noisy in the hallways and not a spa like atmosphere at all. The products used on my face also left my face feeling bad. When nicely addressing my concerns the guy at the front desk seemed to care and said a manger would contact me which has yet to happen. Please spend the money else where

Terrible experience, my girlfriend went in on time to cancel her membership because we are buying a house. They still charged her the next month and will not refund it. It is all their fault also, terrible communication no managers and NO HELP go somewhere else please

I have been a massage envy 15 years. I have mostly had an easy and good experience until my last service. I use the same therapist for last 8-9 years in Marlton. She had emergency and they had to cancel my appt (which is bi weekly) they then scheduled me with a therapist they assured was the same level. She was not unfortunately and after trying to communicate I finally just asked her to stop the service. When I say it was bad, that is an understatement. On top of no real communication or even caring to meet my needs. I have been waiting for a phone for 3 weeks from a manager. I have left 4 messages and stopped by the location also. I do not feel I needed to pay for this service and have never had this situation in the 15 years I have been a customer. When an assistant manager finally after calling again today returned my call, she was rude, condescending and unwilling to reverse this charge to my account. I then requested forms to cancel which I still have not received. I was told I could not talk to the manager that she is on leave and there was no one above that I could talk to. She would not even give me an email to contact someone. I am appalled at the customer service I have received the last few weeks and canceling. I expected more as a customer for as long as I have been. And the owner of this franchise should consider making some changes in management and employees.

I came in for a facial and massage a few weeks back and I kept getting hounded by the employees for enhancements. Which leaves a bad taste in my mouth since I know most chained places threaten employees with discipline if they can't get customers to agree with random up charges. Unethical business practices when I am only trying to relax.

If I could give the place zero I would. This specific location is completely disorganized and consistently cancels appointments the day of. Massage Envy should pull this franchise from the owner as it's a poor representation of the organization.

Massage Envy from Marlton New Jersey is the worst place ever I went. The customer service is bad. They told me different thing every time I am there. They call me to pick up products from other customers. Or they send messages for appointment other customer names.Don't go there. I don't recommend it.

Lack of Customer Service on the part of manager, Kelly. Unwilling to orient her front office staff to the protocol of transferring credits. Willingness to cancel my five year membership over a technicality. Refusal to put me in touch with the General Manager, Morgan. General rudeness and incompatibility with management.

I signed up for a 12 month membership and I wish I never did. A few months into the membership I had some financial issues and asked to freeze my account. The front desk associate said he could freeze it over the phone and that I would need to call to unfreeze it. He never mentioned any paperwork so I was surprised to have my account unfrozen in 2 months which put me in a tough financial spot. A few months later I was having some medical problems that massage seemed to make worse so I wanted to freeze my account until I knew what was going on. I called to freeze the account and the front desk associate told me she would leave a note for her manager to send over the freeze paperwork. She failed to mention that her manager was only there 2 hours a day, works in another location, and may take 48 hours to send the paperwork. Six hours later I called back to find out why I hadn't got the paper and I was angry to find out she is only there 2 hours a day, which explains why her associate is so poorly trained. I asked for the number for corporate and the front desk associate was not even able to provide that. Since I still hadn't heard from the manager late morning on the next day, despite being very firm that I wanted to I called again. That is when I learned that the manager also manages the Mt. Laurel location. That's when I was told that it takes 48 hours and the manager said she would appreciate some understanding and that I didn't need to call the Marlton location a second time last night. I tried expressing the complaints I had about my experience at Massage Envy Marlton, but the manager said she won't listen to me degrade her, will send the papers right now, and hung up on me. The manager wasn't even willing to listen to my complaints.

This business is completely unreasonable. I do not recommend you use and Massage Envy locations. Contract is not great!! They will charge your card for any missed appointments even if it's an emergency. I missed an appointment because of Covid and they still did not want to excuse the missed appointment. They are rude and will not cooperate to end the membership.

I received a giftcard here from my friend as a thank you and booked a reservation for this location. It was my first time here. While getting my massage the music stopped working. There was dead silence or the sound of people talking and laughing. Not the end of the world but not the most relaxing. The room was really cold so I asked Chelsea if she had control of the temperature and she said no. It was to the point of goosebumps. So again not easy to relax when freezing. When I came out to pay they couldn’t figure out how to process my gift card. They asked me to step aside and wait while they checked out another customer who finished after me. Finally they were able to get another store to help them process my gift card. There was $5 left on the gift card and I told her she could keep it on top of the $20 cash tip because I will definitely not be coming back.
