First off, I am giving 2 stars instead of one solely based on the "decor" of the store. Upon approaching the door, one is greeted by a preachy welcome(?)sign. I guess it's political? I don't know, but not a single soul approached me to help. Maybe I had to be a looter to get noticed. Very uncomfortable experience.

Great if you want a canoe or a tent, but not if you want the kind of clothing you can wear as business casual in an office. For that they stock almost nothing in their online catalog. Even online, clothes of most sizes sell out even before you get a chance to buy them. As people return to hybrid work, they need a smarter operating model. Agree with other commenters that say the store is a ton of wasted potential sales space.

This is a showroom, not a store.They only have 1-2 colors/fits/sizes of any given item in stock at a time. It's a total lottery. This is supposed to be a retail store, so they SHOULD have every item sold online in...every available color, fit, and size. But it's not even close.They obviously implemented "just in time" supply chain strategy and as a result don't keep the correct stock, so save money. This functions as a huge middle finger to retail customers all in the name of some stupid abstract sense of business efficiency.

If I could give zero stars I would. Anytime I am in this store there are very few customers, but plenty of employees standing around talking. Eventually, after you kind of stare at them or ASK them they will help, and at that they are not very helpful. Today I had a return from a purchase that I made in the store. To be clear this was not an online purchase. This was a normal credit card purchase for women's clothing that I made last week in the store. I changed my mind and needed to return 5 items. 2 Cashiers had to be involved for me to return., and at that, they were trying to tell me that the merchandise wasn't on the receipt when it cleary was. The 2nd employee helping with the return suggested that they had to return 2 items then process the other 3 separately. It made NO sense!! She gave me some explanation of how they have to put the information in, and if it is one way then blah blah blah. Meanwhile, this took up way to much of my time!! Ridiculous!! These 2 women eventually got my returns accomplished and the refund was put back on my credit card. When I expressed that returns from an instore purchase shouldn't be so difficult, and should be easy like Macy's or TJMaxx, one of the cashiers was eager to challenge me!! She said she used to work for Home Goods and their system was even worse. Did I say this place is such a waste of your time? How rude she was!! This store is literally a big old dinosaur. A HUGE piece of real estate paying a TON of useless employees. I love to support old fashioned brick and mortar stores and I miss so many that have gone out of business due to internet shopping. But honestly, this place deserves it if that's what happens. I love LL BEAN, but not this store. Their stuff is nice , but pricey and the lack of customer service is appalling!! You are better off to order online.

Was here a few months ago just to browse and the people are very friendly they welcome you when you walk in. They sell a lot of outdoors items like tents and other outdoors products too, the store is very well organized also. Everything is sort of on the expensive side thought but I would definitely come back again in the future to make a purchase

My husband and I love their t-shirts. They’re soft, comfy and great quality. The show is always clean and the staff are always nice.

LL Bean has amazing customer service! I went to return a pair of duck boots without a receipt. Did they give me a problem? Nope they were happy to help. The sales person in the shoe department was super helpful and nice. She spent some time with me getting me a pair of boots that fit. She had good suggestions. I was able to get a pair of boots that didn't bother my many foot issues lol The cashier made the return/exchange easy peasyThe store is big but merch is kept neat. There is a big selection of clothes and accessories. The clothes are well made. I was there on a weekday so it wasn't crowded.
