My wife and I lived there for 13months, the only problem we had where ants and spiders, they tried spraying for the bugs but it really did nothing, and also I want to know about my security deposit, nothing was said about this, they sent me a text about where to call but I did not get an answer! I just want to know ( whats going on)

My girlfriend and I have lived here for the past year with relatively no issues. Any issues we've had shouldn't impact anyone's decision to move in. They also made moving in very easy given I was out of state. Not crazy about the price hike, which is our reason for moving out, but this is a business and they are charging what people are willing to pay. Can't get mad about that. T

I’m new to New Jersey and this is a great place to live. It’s in a nice city, lots of stuff close by, not too far from highways. Rachel accommodated my walk in tour on a Saturday and was super easy to reach by email through my app process and even now if I have questions she’s very easy to get in contact with. The service team is also super great. I have a chihuahua who likes to make some commotion when strangers come but they are nice and she likes them! Eli is super great and explains what he has to do or why it’s not working which I appreciate. They take really good care of the community with the landscaping and it’s very clean… of course I wish it was cheaper but the price is good for the area! Glad I picked this place as my new home. Definitely recommend.

Leasing office agent was very rude and inappropriate concerning a question regarding restricted breeds. Please educate your staff on how to properly respond to these inquiries.

I've lived here for just over two years and have had minimal issues. The grounds are always kept up and is generally a very quiet complex. Everyone at the office is very pleasant! We didn't get to see the unit prior to move in, so we were surprised when we found out we have a fireplace! Turned out to be a good thing but would have been nice to know this beforehand. The maintenance crew is great, are fairly quick as responding to work orders and always have a good attitude. The stairs to the buildings are cracked which isn't a huge deal unless it breaks, then that part of the stairwell is blocked off for over a month. The apartments need to be updated, our water heater was older than me and desperately needed to be replaced. One of the big cons is the trash situation. While there are two spots to drop off your garbage and recycling, the recycling dumpsters get over filled too quickly. It would be great if the township could provide them with more dumpsters.Overall, a great complex to live if you're looking for somewhere quiet. It's been a great place to call home!Update - after now having moved out, the move out process was maybe one of the worse experiences I've had with this complex. The rent system was charging us for a full months rent even though we were moving out before the last day of the month. When asked to have the pro-rated rent for our last month written and signed, the ladies in the office were laughing and gave attitude. We were NOT allowed to be there for the final walk through of the apartment to ensure we would get our security deposit back. Be careful if you choose to get a POD delivered for the move. Despite being told if it was in the back of the lot away from most of the primary parking spots it wasn't a problem. However, they were asking us when it was going to be taken away multiple times before our lease was even up.I'm sad that this is the note that we left on because up until the end, I really had almost all good things to say.

DO NOT RENT HERE!!!Place is Awful!! They will check you in but when it comes time to check out they will steal your security deposit!! I dare them to charge me a $102 for broken blinds That were so cheap that when you opened the window and the air hit they cracked And And to charge for a Key Of $75 when it only costs a dollar to make ! Everything in the apartment was cheesy and not upscale like they advertised! Please do not rent from them you will regret! They spend all their money's on parties and not taking care of their tenants!

Not sure how they managed so many stars. I've been here since 2019. Office manager is unprofessional and does not respond. New parking lot paving and line painting but still only one legal handicapped spot at my building. The spot they added is just a handicapped sign without pavement markings so law enforcement cannot address. Oh and there are no handicapped spaces at the building next door so there are at least 5 tenants fighting for two spaces. Some people are afraid to go down to the leasing office and request more.spaces due to the staff attitudes. Signs used to say "luxury" apartments. I guess they got the memo and edited.

I had work done on my refrigerator and Don from maintenance was extremely kind, polite and very professional. It is awesome to see that Scully employs such wonderful people!

We got charged $116 because their cheap blinds were broken. All those blinds combined probably didn't even cost $16. Maybe I can send you guys the bill for the tetanus shot I needed from your rusty nails sticking out of the carpet too?Other cons- Silverfish and Ants galore- Hot water does not last- Cheap carpet- Outside ceilings falling apart- Insulation is POORPeople at the office were pretty much the only pro of the complex and were very nice. But we weren't paying $1900+ when we could save hundreds at a much nicer complex.

I have lived here 4 years and have no complaints. All the staff members are courteous and very professional. Anytime I call for a repair request, the response time is prompt. The grounds are well kept and maintenance staff is very proactive regarding pending snow storms. The annual pool parties, holiday parties and other events are a plus. This is a great place to live.

First of all, I would like to say that Hunter's Chase was a great place to live. Cindy in the office was a delight to work with for a majority of our lease and provides excellent customer service. I lived there for just about 2 years with a girlfriend at the time. The grounds were well kept, community was nice, and amenities were great! My buddies and I used the pool and tennis courts often during the summer and my dog loved the dog park. Even when the pandemic began, Hunter's Chase was very understanding and did well keeping their residents safe. During our second year living here, I started to realize why people were in and out of that complex all the time.During that course of time, I had a new neighbor occupy the apartment beneath me (I lived on the third floor). Not only did they come up to my apartment and call the office to complain about our day-to-day life noises and dog (running, playing with toys, etc.), but they called the police numerous times about it, despite having my personal phone number. Management told me that the noise had to be put to an end or we find alternative housing considering no other units were available. At the time, nothing was available within our range so we needed to stay in our current residence. We were told by management that the Regional Manager approved a notion to allow us out of our lease early if we did find a new place to go. When we found a new place, I notified the office about our new move out date.Within the last few months of living here, the neighbor was extremely disrespectful and had no care in the world about the others around them. They would send me texts while I would have a few people over that we're being too loud and would call me at work to tell me that my girlfriend at the time took their parking space (Mind you, it's public parking unless you pay for the better spaces, which none of us have done). After all of this, I do have to say that the management team was pretty helpful, not only about this situation but about other matters as well. Maintenance was available almost next day and turn around time for information was usually less than 24 hours. My overall issue isn't with that, but it is with the residents. Most of the people living here now seem to be wealthier and are expecting a more premium living life. I would definitely recommend people here as long as they offer first floor apartments to people with pets exclusively and have a more quiet lifestyle, otherwise, you might want to go elsewhere.

Moved in during COVID, move in was as good as it could’ve been during that time. Apartment was clean when we moved in and there wasn’t much that needed to be addressed on the “was damaged when we got here” form. We’ve been here 2 months and they send me texts about when they are shoveling snow or when to be careful so it feels like they care and want everyone to be safe. The only somewhat issue my apartment faces is any upstairs movement is heard easily as if the floors are thin? They are old buildings so I’m assuming not much can be done but it’s something to note. Given that they seem thin it’s very easy to hear kids screaming or playing if they are above you which we had but they seem to have moved to the unit below us which I hope wasn’t a direct result of us moving in since we never complained and just dealt with it the best we could. The unit is perfect I wouldn’t change anything just maybe thicker or better insulated floors. Plan on being here a few years.

I lived at Hunters Chase for 5.5 years before just recently relocating to Florida. I enjoyed my time living there- it was generally quiet, my apartment had a nice view of the woods, and I pretty much always felt safe. The maintenance crew and ladies in the leasing office are very helpful and friendly. Thanks!

Moving for the first time can be extremely stressful and taxing mentally. The staff he constantly follows up with you in regards to how your move is going and if there's any extra support you might need. I've only been here two days so far but I can say that this has been a pleasant experience for me.
