Choose another branch, worst service ever.....

Citizens Bank is the worst bank I have ever dealt with. We were the victims of check fraud so we contacted Dan, the "manager" who didn't have the time of day for me. He was supposed to escalate our claim. After I gave him all of the information, I left him several messages and he never bothered to return my calls. I then went to the branch in person and he denied that I called. I came to found out from the Fraud Department that he never did anything to escalate our case because they never received anything from him. He just wanted us to get frustrated and go away. Well, we are. We are withdrawing everything we have from Citizens. They are the worst bank to deal with. GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE!!!

Dan and Julia, although persistent, were very helpful with our needs. They were looking out for our financial needs. They were very knowledgeable and friendly.

Mary Ann was extremely rude. I have never experienced such dismissive behavior. Luckily a Philadelphia branch was super friendly and very helpful.Mary Ann is either racist, ageist or has better things to do than provide good customer service.

I am only giving them one star because their 800-Customer Service folks helped me when nobody in the branch office would. I have a POA for my dad with dementia and went to the branch last week to execute it for my father's checking account. The agent there earned 3 stars for how she helped me but alas, CB decided to take down their system at LUNCH TIME for an update (really? lunch time??). Once it came back up, we were able to complete my transaction and she suggested I return in 48 hours to sign a signature card. Well, I returned the next week and she was out for the week and nobody knew what to do in her absence and said for me to wait for her return. Wait. Only ONE person can do banking that isn't a deposit or withdraw??? Worse, I was told that I needed an appointment and to come back. Yes, I'll be back, to close my account with them! Those 3 stars now are zero stars!!!

They always rip me off with there deposits they put on hold. They hold the check and then they charge an overdraft fee. If you need money that bad just ask I'm sure I would donate for a worthy cause. You know like paying millions to put your name on a stadium.

My paychecks are drawn on Citizens Bank and I went in to cash my check. The young man teller told me it's $7.00 to cash my check which I understand banks are in business to make money, however, his snarky attitude is what I didn't appreciate! If you had an account with us,you wouldn't be charged he said.I think it would have been better business to say since your checks are drawn at our bank, would you like to open an account so you won't have to pay the fee?Ive got to be honest,it's not about the fee,it's about how your customer service is!I have several bank accounts in this area and I can honestly say that I will NEVER do business with this horrible customer service bank!!I will tell everyone how horrible this bank is!!

This is my go-to bank. The same people have been working there for years. I feel very comfortable doing business there. Everybody is so nice there. I highly recommend this branch, even if you go out of your way to go there. I have no Citizens Bank anywhere in my area.

I wish I could give them zero stars. They charged me $7 to cash a check drawn on their bank. The only reason I went to them and not my bank was because I happened to see it as I was headed home. The teller (Tim, I think there might have been two Tims, it was the balding guy) told me the most ridiculous statement I have ever heard in my entire life from anyone trying to rip off a consumer, he said, "Citizens Bank doesn't want people to think we are in the check cashing business." Well hello Citizens Bank, you are a check cashing business. That's kind of your role, but now you're just crooks.

I've been to this particular Citizens bank countless times as well as many of the others around this area. All I can say is that I'm totally satisfied with every aspect of how they operate. Especially in terms of customer service. The one and only problem I have is that they are pretty far from my house but with all the online tools I rarely have to go to them any longer. With the ability to mobile deposit checks the only time I have to go is if for some reason I must deposit cash. Which can be done at any hour since you can do this through their ATM. And most of their branches if not all have an outside ATM. Some even have them as a drive through so your lazy butt never needs to leave the car. I know this branch has one negative review but please don't let that discourage you because if you check her profile she isn't happy about most places she visits. Anyway if they put a branch in Moorestown I would personally start making everyone in town switch to them. Jk but I would certainly tell everyone about how wonderful they are as a bank.

We did not have a good banking experience with Citizens. Bugs with their online banking resulted in one of our accounts vanishing, and they were super rigid when times were tough for us in ways that other banks aren't. They're inconsistent with handling my husband's checks. The second day we had an account with them they wouldn't open on time because an employee didn't show up, and instead of handling it, the manager told us to go home. They give you a designated pin number for the debit cards, and you CAN change it, but you have to actually go there and do it on the citizens ATM, which doesn't really help me because I'm scatterbrained and can't ever remember the first pin, and they won't help you retrieve it immediately; they make you wait several days while they send it in the mail. Maybe these aren't deal breakers for everyone, but they altogether made our experience here extremely negative and we wouldn't recommend them for anyone for any reason.
