My dog was diagnosed at this clinic with heart disease and a bad heart valve. We started him on a very expensive ($200 per month) medication for this issue. 3 months later, I had to bring my pet to an emergency hospital for a different reason. I asked the emergency vet to have head of cardiology do a complete heart work up to make sure he was ok. I was shocked to hear after his evaluation that HIS HEART WAS PERFECT and there was no issue!!!! How is this possible? Both 4 paws and their EKGs were reviewed by the head cardiologist and they were the same! I'm so disgusted and horrified at this so called vet clinic. You screw up a diagnosis that bad and gave my pet a medication that could have hurt him!!Never ever use them...I'm fuming to say the least!!

Some of the staff just don't care about your pet and they act like they don't want to be there. I called for a simple but urgent need - just a few days supply of meds while the delivery of the medicine is delayed. The receptionist couldn't guarantee to get it done even though the pharmacy is in the back. She said they would call me. 3 hours later I called again spoke to a helpful tech (bypassed reception ) and he told me the doc who last saw my pet is out and the receptionist put it in for that doc however the original doc who prescribed is here. The tech will get her to review and OK. 10 minutes later he called me back and said I can pick them up. Why wouldn't anyone ask the only doctor there to review instead just tell me not sure today and then carelessly enter into the system. I expressed the urgency that my leg is off the meds for a day already and he is in pain. They weren't advocating for me or even caring or listening to my need. Disappointing experience. When it was a simple ask easily accomplished.

Was waiting over 40 minutes with an appointment. And also witnessed a dog foaming out of the mouth who could barely breathe, the owner stressed about how their dog needed to be seen, yet no one cared. There was foam all over the floor and the only thing the doctor said was "do you need a napkin" NEVER GO HERE EVER

Been going to this Vet for the past 6-7 years, use to love them; not feeling the love anymore. Had my cat there for a check up, got check over, Med filled (allergies , eye drops), got a lecture about Rabies vaccine is the law, so I had the Vet administer that. Bill was under $70. Then received a call this morning, Vet forgot to bill me for the office visit, I nearly freaked $105! WTH?! I initially paid, $55-$65 when we first went there. Then on top of that like yesterday, they are charging a 2% fee for using a charge card! Always, always one Vet on duty on weekends, and you wait n wait. Doctors you like leave, Dr Rob, Dr Brittany, gone. Ever since they moved into their newer, bigger location I noticed the changes, cleanliness, staff, attitudes. I've spent a fortune here over the years to take care of my cats; not anymore, finding a new Vet in the new year.

4 Paws used to be a good practice years ago, but unfortunately, not any more. Few observations: 1. They ask for cash payments, no credit cards. A regular visit is $105, blood work $300, x ray $250, ultrasound $650. This is if no surgery/meds were needed. If a person has 2+ more pets, then that means x * $1000 have to be set aside to get cares for your pets. 2. Low hygiene standard - the exam rooms are filthy. There are loose hair on the exam table, floor, counter. The vets often draw blood with bare hands, no gloves, and again just apply pressure once needle is removed with bare hands. Have they ever considered the risk of transmission of disease from pets to pets? 3. Reluctance to refill prescriptions. If the pets happen to need refills for more than once, then the vets would urge you to come back and pay another office visit. 4. Front desk demeanors - while it varies from staff to staff, but 3 out of 5 staffs have lots of room for improvement. I have seen a pet parent in her 50s being scolded by this 20ish girl, in a stern and harsh manner. Being there as a bystander to witness the incident was very uncomfortable to me.

Awful customer service, possibly racist, This has not only happened to me but also my mother. I have 2 dogs, i 4 year old golden retriever that My mother brings and each time we make an appointment the time is never honored. This establishment makes it known that only their time is of value, why make an appointment if you end up waiting an extra 45-50 min each time, this has happened numerous times and there is zero customer service to address the issue, not even an apology, more recently I attempted to bring my new puppy and the staff gave deathly glares when he was barking and then had a wait an additional 50 min past our appointment time, with zero explanations, asked them if this is regular and that our time is also valuable and was shrugged off with no apology, terrible staff and terrible considerations for clients time, didn't see the same experience with white clients, Funny how they were serviced more promptly

They pick and choose new clients. Really upsetting since my other family pets have been using Dr. Brittany for years. They denied me saying they are not taking new clients but other new clients were taken (from Marlboro community fb page). Rude front desk.

This staff here is AMAZING !! the front desk staff is so welcoming, compassionate and friendly. Dr. Brittany is terrific. My dog who is not the most friendliest to strangers even loves Dr. Brittany. She is extremely thorough, takes her time, treats your animal as if it was her own & answers all your questions. I cannot say enough about 4 PAWS I highly, highly recommend coming here!

There is not enough room to share my experiences with Dr Weisenstein and his excellent care of my dogs......Many years........ Many pets....from Labs to yorkies - he has been our Dr., our friend, and really he is family!! We love the whole gang and travel an hour or more to see them. There were happy times and sometimes not so happy ......but we had our friends at Four Paws to share them. ?❤️️

We've been going to 4 Paws for many years - and first I would like to say how nice this new location is! Beautiful. Our dog HEMI recently required surgery for excessive bladder stones. Without going into all the details (which would be a small novel) I want to say that the ENTIRE staff at 4 Paws went above and beyond! Dr. Turks (surgeon) clearly explained everything. Unfortunately while HEMI was on the operating table - our fears were confirmed. We decided to try a specialist (hospital) to see if they could clear his urethra. There was no "ego" here; no feeling of "losing money" by bringing HEMI elsewhere - what we felt was one team looking to do the best for our dog. Period. Dr. Turks talked with the other hospital - on his day off - so they understood HEMIs condition. Dr. Toll (HEMIS vet at 4 paws) called us on HER time to see how we were doing and to ask if we had questions...... and Michelle (tech) called often to check on HEMI so she could update everyone at 4 paws. Truly they care about my dog. All animals. It's more than a "job" and it shows. HEMI is thankfully recovering nicely. The specialist was able to remove the stones from his urethra completely and safely. None of this would have been possible without the help of Dr. Turk and the compassion of Michelle & Dr. Toll. HEMI has an Instagram friend (a Cane Corso) who's ACL needed repair. This friend had the same vet for a long time (Texas) but guess what? They did the wrong surgery on this dog. When it failed - they did it again!! Why? Because they didn't know how to do the correct surgery needed and Instead of saying that - and instead of somebody else making money - this poor dog suffered!!! Why am I telling this story? Because it happens! It's awful. It sucks. But it happens. I can tell you first hand - from experience - it WONT happen if yOu go to 4 Paws! My experience has always been that they care about your pet. Before anything else.... your pets health is their doesn't concern -

Dr.Brittany to the rescue on August 5,2019 we brought our senior beagle Ricky for a sick visit. The doctor found an infection and gave us antibiotics. After one hour something drastically changed with my dog. I knew the office closed at 8:00pm and rushed to get him back. Everyone was so helpful in treating him and running tests. We took him home and Dr Brittany made sure we had labs and X-rays in case we needed to go to animal hospital. They called at 10 pm to check in with us. Thank you 4 Paws for taking such good care of Ricky.

Horrible unprofessional business. They gave me appointment at 11:20, I got there at 11:10, picked up my pet as he is barky so as to not cause a scene. And he was well behaved as well, I waited till 11:35, asked them how much longer, they said they bumped me with another doctor. Then I waited, people who came after me got in, and here I am holding the dog waiting, it's 11:55 and I was still waiting, at this point I'm posed and I just walked out. If I had known this, I wouldn't have come. I'm taking my business elsewhere.
