Unfortunately, after one year and three months, I'm basically at the point where I am considering having my beautiful Morkie put down. She has been aggressive for most of her life with me, but now she is almost unapproachable with out skin ripping bites. I have spent 3,000 dollars with expert vets, behavioral trainers to almost no avail. One hundred percent of these professionals agree that it is no ad breeding.

Bait and switch! Quote you a price upon drop off and raise the price by $30! I will never be back!!! They get their puppies from puppies mills in the mid west as well. We had left and came back. Now I remember why we left! They only take cash as well. Assuming that has something to do with taxes as they aren't "grooming" anymore.

I called the store ahead of going there to find out what puppies were available. The staff member was very helpful and honest, and provided all the info I asked including prices of puppies. When we arrived at the store, we were impressed with how clean the cages were and the overall appearance of all the puppies. Since the puppy was for my daughter, she was the one to choose which puppy she wanted. She adopted a 4 month old male Pomeranian. He was very friendly, clean and healthy looking when taken out of the cage. We took him to our veterinarian who give the puppy a clean bill of health. Our veterinarian commented on how nice the puppy's skin looked, and did not find any health issues with the puppy. The puppy is sweet, friendly and very social! Highly recommend Troy's for an experienced dog owner seeking to adopt a small breed dog.

Anyone have any experience buying puppies at Troy's Trims and Treats in englewood? Here is my experience. I purchased a dog in (02/27/22) paid $3272 went home and after a few days noticed the puppy was sick -vomiting and having diarrhea. Took this puppy and my 2 year old dog to the vet and found out both dogs were infected with giardia parasite. In the paperwork I received with the sale of the dog it stated she was treated for giartia parasite but was not followed up with. As a result-of this when I took the dog home she unknowingly spread the parasite to my first dog lily. This is the first time my dog lily has experienced this. To my surprise both dogs are sick due to this parasite they were sick vomiting with diarrhea and dehydration. I reached out to the owner Ellie and she agreed to pay for treatment for both dogs at first. She paid ($350) After the first round of treatments didnt work and both dogs were still dehydrated and needing of emergency medical care I reached out to Ellie again with the prices of the emergency medical care and medication and received zero response from her. She clearly sold me a sick dog for a lot of money and will no longer take responsibility for her mistake. I never asked for my money back for the sick dog Leila, all I asked was for Ellie to help me pay for the medical expenses which have built up to over $1000. I have sent over all invoices and proof of what I have paid thus far. This dog was supposed to be my sons birthday gift and it turned out to be my families worst nightmare. The money, sleepless nights and stress that this has caused had taken a toll on us and all we wanted was to have healthy pups to love and enjoy.

I really was impressed with the cleanliness and care that they have in their appearance and the animals. Although a bit pricey I was impressed with the thoroughness they have in maintaining the cages clean and the safety of the little ones. They are also very transparent in all paperwork, reimbursements if the animals should have a genetic illness , etc. The only reason I am not giving a five star review is because after seeing the intensity of care and precautions taken in keeping the animals safe and healthy my new puppy has an ear infection (rods). I would have expected that when the vet administered there checklist exams (in which you get a copy of) the little ones ears would be checked and cleaned as well. My new pup also has kennel cough but that's to be expected and I knew that's a chance going in however kudos to the owners to offer reimbursement for the cost of the medication if that is the case. Appearances are everything but attentional to detail like hygiene for these cuties is also important so you may want to check their ears before spending almost $3000 for a new furry friend.

Expensive puppy mill shop, no longer offers grooming services unless you were a previous client.

For 10 years I was a loyal customer at Troy’s Trims and Treats in Englewood, where my darling Havanese Frankee was groomed in their immaculate spa environment, always emerging like she was ready to be shown at the Westminster Dog show. When Ellie began to sell puppies, I knew that she would apply the same exacting standards in this enterprise that she did to her grooming business. I never failed to be enchanted by the pups that Silver Nickel Puppies bred. They were healthy, playful, and well cared for. I saw the look of delight on the faces of customers who came to make their selection after playing in a safe, clean enclosure. When my sweet Frankee passed last year, I knew there would be another dog in my future, and I was certain my next canine adventure would begin at Troy’s, helping me find the right pup. When my heart had healed, I reached out and then got the call to come and meet a special girl. We played together for an hour and formed our bond as she wiggled and climbed over me, licking my face. I was in love! This captivating phantom, black and white poodle, Winnie, just celebrated her first birthday with me. She is so affectionate, spending most evenings in my lap, much to the chagrin of my cat, Sydney, whom she has displaced. She loves playing with the other dogs in my building, and she proved to be an apt pupil when I enlisted the services of my trainer, who had also trained Frankee. We have settled into a comfortable routine, and I couldn’t ask for a better companion. I am so grateful to Ellie and her helper Barbara for their compassion extended to me in Frankee’s waning days, and for their expertise in helping me begin my journey with Winnie. I have recommended Troy’s to friends considering bringing a pup into their lives, knowing they will make the right match. Ellie is a special person who understands that very special connection between owner and dog, and she has created an environment that fosters love and caring for dogs and the people who will make them a part of their families. Anyone considering starting this unique journey should take their first step at Troy’s in Englewood.

Troy’s Trim And Treats is by far the best pet grooming place that I have ever been to! Not only do they cut my dogs nails, but they also file them! Not only do they wash my dog, but they also put cologne! They even brush my dog’s teeth too! I also love how they put a very cute bandana on my dog when I pick him up from there! Also, around the holidays, they even put a festive bandana on him!
