10-39 44th Dr, Queens“I cannot offer enough praise for this fantastic institution! Remix Market is such an important resource in my professional and personal life. And their staff is exceptionally helpful and friendly. Thank you Remix!!”
“I stumbled upon the Upper East Side Thrift Shop recently and was pleasantly surprised by the wide selection of items at fantastic prices. It felt like discovering a hidden gem with each aisle I explored. The staff was friendly and helpful. If you're in the area, be sure to check out both locations on 1st Ave and 87th Street, as well as 2nd Ave and 89th Street. Support this local business, you never know what treasures you might find!”
“MFTA has been like the heart and soul of the arts and cultures in NYC. This company and staff are great! Thanks the donors that keep donating year after year.❤️??”
“This is one of my favorite stops in NYC! Items are on the pricey side, but I love every piece I've purchased here over the years. Definitely a must stop every time I'm in NYC.”
“Can’t think of a nicer guy in a business like this. The owner Nick helped me out tremendously for a bunch of things I needed and kept recommending more to really complete my trip. Prices are incredibly fair and if you talk to Nick you’ll get a couple cool stories from him as well. I’ve already recommended this store to friends and family who I’ll most likely join if they head over here. I highly recommend anyone looking to go to a thrift store to come here first before anywhere else.”
“My sisters and I thrift all over the city, and this is one of the very best places. Very well organized, fair prices, and some wonderful unexpected finds - on top of which Tanya, the owner, is the bomb.”
“We had several large furniture pieces we wanted to donate to ReStore. When we sent photos the staff replied very quickly and accepted all the items.Lucas and Gus arrived on time on the day we scheduled and not only took all the items listed, but other things we forgot to list. They were very professional and helpful. We highly recommend ReStore and their professionals. So much so, that we have contacted them again so we can donate more items to help support the work of ReStore and Habitat for Humanity!”
“I love this thrift store. It’s so cute I have been frequenting this place for years . Today T he staff was extra nice. Merle was very accommodating, and even helped me carry my stuff to the car. I will be back more frequently. They have a great variety of stuff.”
“Just bought a wonderful tea cart. Christina was lovely. Friendly, helpful, willing to haggle a bit over price too! A nice variety of items! Couldn’t be happier.”

No kidding! My son and I like to go to Unique Boutique about once a month. You will be happy with this place!”

163 E 111th St, New York“Love this place, so happy I found it and that it’s in my neighborhood! It’s quickly become part of my weekend ritual (donating, picking up some great finds and my fave challenge of bringing in plastic bottles!) and I can’t stop telling friends about it. Thanks to all the staff for keeping it running ?”
“Love this place. Lots of super-cheap clothes. My advice on how to shop is to make three or four rounds just to make sure you didn't miss anything. Friendly staff, good vibes here. Also, I thought it worth adding that I've been to plenty of bigger, chain resale shops in NY and NJ like Unique, 2nd Ave Thrift, and this place is better. It's clean, rotates stock, and is far more pleasant.”
“It is a wonderful place. I came to this country a year ago and they have not stopped collaborating with us. I have three children and they have always supported us in everything. Miss Jessica is a sweetheart. The pastor, the pastor and all her staff are really nice and meaningful people. collaboration to ?”
“PROS: The staff is nice, prices are good, and the variety is plentiful. They have everything under the sun here. they have a good size parking lot and the hours are good CONS: They only accept cash, everything looks messy inside, and nothing is priced. you have to ask them what each item is worth OVERALL: Not really my go-to place after coming here. But if you're in the area, might as well stop in”
“I normally donate tons of expensive stuff here and the ladies working there are super nice. Today though (12/26/2023), there was a white older woman who was a witch! Mean and rude! I have never seen her there before but I hope to never see her again. If she is volunteering, she should just stay home and avoid working with people since she doesn't seem to know what customer friendly means. Super cranky and horrible attitude!”

487 Columbus Ave, New York“For secondhand clothing, the UWS is replete with stellar options {Housing Works on W 74th, Housing Works on W 96th, Unique Boutique on W 83rd, St Francis Thrift Store on W 96th = all excellent options}. UES has great thrift options too: Unique Boutique on E 94th, Housing Works on E 90th, Goodwill NYNJ on E 88th, & there’s another one in East Harlem}. Once you step in and see how current and high quality the pieces they have are, and for such bargain prices (plenty of great pieces between $5 - $20), you’ll basically never shop new again. It’ll change the way you shop in nyc.Housing Works on 74th & Columbus —this one in particular has some terrific designer fashion finds; it also has a very cool home-wear section and some collectible pieces that are sold off on an auction basis. It’s very very cool. You can find some really stellar finds at excellent prices at both of the Unique Boutiques on UWS and UES.”
“Great selection of clothing, home goods, and other miscellaneous items. They started to carry plants as well. Def a gem in the neighborhood with affordable prices!”
“This shop is a hidden gem!! I went to four other thrift stores before stumbling into this gold mine! I bought a beautiful pair of lamps, plus two sets of side tables I didn't know I was looking for until I saw them! They have high quality merchandise that is reasonably priced! The energy was sweet and welcoming! I love it there!”
“I have been going to this place for a very long time and there have been a lot of good managers who have come and gone but the current one David is one of the nicest I have ever met. He is a professional at what he does. He is a hard worker, he treats the staff nicely and his customer service is impeccable. Thank you David for making shopping at Thriftland a more pleasant experience. The store is one of the best thrift stores in the Bronx. It’s clean and has better quality goods and the staff are friendly as well.”
“Lovely thrift store the staff at the front desk on Thursday morning was great!I do think items are pricey but I am sure there is a market for those items and there are also some more affordable items.I especially loved their bags and furniture collections.”
“I go out of my way to bring my items to Housing Works. Every time I've gone I have also checked around; there is always something interesting. A warm place, sometimes with a long line, seems more upscale than similar companies. Great mission.”
“Excellent service, it is very clean and they are very friendly, the clothes are good brand names and very cheap, the best of all is that they add new clothes every week”
9AM - 5PM
92-15 37th Ave, Queens“I love this shop! Def not to be missed! Tucked in amongst LOTS of Latin food cafes, food trucks, and bakeries, and very lively streets selling just about everything, sits a not so little, not so hidden absolute gem! Aforementioned venues are surely worth the visit to Jackson Heights, but I couldn’t feel more blessed to find El Baratón across the street from our building… it has made getting dressed in lazy mornings so much easier to do when that “1 item” has gone missing, I know I can pop in for a thrifty scarf or a new Zara blazer, or top label 2ndhand staple jeans and tees… or a quirky fur (faux for sure) jacket. Racks of sneakers and flats and boots in great condition- my only 1 complaint- ? they tend to suit smaller sized feet than my average 8’s. Because they are cute. As are the staff and owner, always helpful and the curator/gm/owner- always a doll with stories and style, if you just want to chat! Kids and mens’ stuff too!”

535 W 48th St, New York“Spent 6 months of my life here...came out on the other side a changed man. I kicked booze & drugs , got my Drivers license back, social security card, NYC ID, Medicaid all taken care of over that time. Had medical procedure I had needed done for years accomplished. I became Born Again in Christ. I worked out every evening in their top flight gym including internet enhanced (NordicTrak Bikes, rowing machine, elliptical, and treadmill). Picked up good work habits as part of a wharehouse crew. This place is a hidden gem . Im writing this almost a year to the day of my first walking through those doors. I have a career now , my own place, and a life that I am proud of with plenty of opportunity going forward.Amen”

2359 Jerome Ave, Bronx“There is a young man who is the worst. I asked him twice about something and he didn't answer me and then he answered me in Spanish. I mean, he did know the language. My clothes fell to the floor and he left the store. He didn't sell me. He told me the devil. It doesn't exist and he doesn't care if I report this way, he offended me and yelled at me in front of everyone.”
“Sweet little authentic thrift store. Helpful, kind staff.Truly a thrift store, not like the corporate stores pretending to be thrift stores, looking at you Goodwill.”
“I was just there yesterday and found all of the volunteers to be friendly and helpful so not sure what other people are talking about.Good selection of clothes, shoes, housewares and decorative items.Yes, there are cat cages in the store, but they were clean and the animals were being well looked after.”
“I love this place! I’ve been here a few times now and there’s always new and great quality clothing! The prices are good and the workers are so sweet :) 10/10 would recommend and tell your friends!!!”
