They really need to do something about the rude impatient older lady that works there. She clearly hates her job. She’s dealing with worried and sick people trying to make sure they have their medications with zero compassion. I was willing to wait and be kind but as I waited I watched her talk loudly and rudely to and about the people in front of me. And then there was a user error with my insurance because she could not enter it properly she was very rude to me so I gave it right back to her. She needs to learn how to treat people. You get back what you put out. I will say that the young man that works there was very kind so that’s why it’s 2 stars instead of 1.

The Prepared Family Meals at ShopRite featuring salmon, vegetables, and potatoes exceeded my expectations. The salmon was perfectly cooked, flaky, and flavorful. The assortment of fresh vegetables added a delightful crunch and color, complementing the dish. The seasoned potatoes were a delicious side. Overall, a convenient and tasty option for a hassle-free family meal. Service was surprisingly useful. I needed help with 2 items from produce which didn't scan, the help at the self checkout was very reliable. For healthy family precooked meals, definitely consider ShopRite.

I honestly think this is one of the best ShopRite's I've been to in NJ so far! After grabbing something to eat at one of the restaurants within the complex, my sister and I decided to pick up some groceries. The parking lot was a bit hectic but I was able to find a spot pretty quick. This ShopRite surprised me! They have a hot food station, pre-made sandwiches and meals, a fudge and nuts area...it reminded me of a Wegmans in a way. If anyone has been to the ShopRite in Bayonne or Kearny, you know how this could excite me haha! Even self checkout didn't have a line! I was walking towards it but an employee waved me down to check out at his lane which was nice. Overall, a great experience. I may drive 45 minutes to this location for grocery shopping again.

I'm 80 tears old and have lived in the general area all my life. I have taken advanced education in NYC--I'm a doctoral level psychologist-- and worked there as well. I worked in The A&P in the 50s and dealt with employees in KINGS Supermarkets in the 90s. All this to say, mostly all reviews seem to be based upon the past. Englewood is a nice town--always been-- and I remember the race riots of the 70s and 80s. The store and parking lot are typical of other lots at other stores and the carts are new and free--no quarters--that was a long time ago.The stock is extensive--I notice the paper towel/toilet paper aisle has products piled about 8-10 feet high, like no other supermarket I've seen. The quality of meat and seafood is very good, in fact we buy chop meat here instead of a butcher in Fort Lee where we live--85%. The inventory is superb--greater variety than any other store. I do notice the racial tinge of a few employees, but it is not a problem. In short, I think the reviews I've just read are too heavy on the negative end. If you're thinking of coming here to shop, print my review and match it with what you experience while there--thanks for listening.

An elderly white lady with long gray hair is constantly harassing me while I check out! She always has something to say to people of color and she always has to stand behind a person of color! What is the problem with her? She doesn't do this with any white customers that I have witnessed! I am tired of being harassed by her simply because of the color of my skin! If you are a person of color please watch out during check out of the supervisor with the gray/white hair!

PROS: This Shop Rite was fully renovated 2 years back and it's looking beautiful! You walk into the eatery area first and then drift to the left to go into the supermarket area. They have things at better prices than other Shop Rites in the area. CONS: The area is not the best and has sketchy people in the parking lot and store (of course not the super markets fault, but it should be noted). Also, the parking lot has narrow lanes which makes driving in it very hard OVERALL: if you need something quick and you want to ave money and you just so happen to be in the area, I recommend coming here

Really cute girl asked for my Walgreens card, but this is a shoprite. She is clearly new here. Later that week, the same person asked for my right aid card. I think the place is good, but just make sure that your employees know where they are working. Thanks!

Best variety and prices within miles. Huge selection and always bargains and sale items, make sure to signup for a free Shop Rite card. Get free turkey every year at Thanksgiving. While the diversity is high and checkout excellence is hit or miss, not much of a problem and parking is plenty and there is even a small strip of stores and Englewood 'main street' Palisades Avenue just behind, parking for a few hours at the Shop Rite is Ok for general shopping and avoiding street parking. The store is closed now due to flooding from Ida and going to other stores nearby can appreciate the variety and prices even more. Steak, water and other items are just as good as anywhere else at much lower prices. The shoppers and store employees generally follow mask guidelines and do so more than most of the smaller grocery stores and smaller stores like Walgreens or CVS in the nearby communities.
