They did import before a lot of Italian products. Not anymore. I can understand the exchange and shipping is higher now. But even before Covid I noticed less and less products imported from Italy. Stuff I would not even buy in Italy they sell it there. I believe the buyer for these products is not of Italian origin. It’s like I’m non Asian and Zi buy Asian food I know nothing about! It had deteriorated! Why all those over priced vegetables? I don’t go there to buy these things. Supermarket sell cheaper because they buy in large quantities!

It's not the type of food I prefer, more European style. Huge selection of cheeses. Decent selection of wines from different Italian regions.

Jerry’s was fine. It was a bit pricey, but, if you’re shopping carefully you can find bargains.

This place is amazing. You can get great deals on lots of different items (Especially cheeses) while they offer one of the best selections of Italian groceries I've ever seen. The prepared food at the deli counter is great too. ...though the 5 star review is well deserved for the one thing I am about to mention by itself. This is where I get my favorite italian hero: The #1: Proscutto, Capicollo, Sopresatta, Mozzarella on a hero. Everything on it, with extra hot peppers. This sandwich is better than I have ever had. The bread is so good and the sandwich is so fresh and dense when packed with all the stuff. Get one. It's awesome.

My family has been going to Jerry's since it was in the other location, which is probably 35 or 40 years ago. As always the prepared foods, cheeses and the overall selection continues to be outstanding. However, the customer service has seen a serious decline. My family recently bought some dried figs, which we have bought many times in the past. They were only $2.99. When we got them home and opened them, they were pretty dried out and crumbly. Again, we have bought them in the past and they were never like this. We called the store and asked about bringing them back for a refund. The woman who answered the phone was nasty and argumentative and claimed that they would never sell anything that was substandard. I certainly like to think that they would never knowingly sell anything like that, but sometimes it happens. When we brought them in to try and get the refund in spite of the nasty attitude of the woman who answered the phone, the manager on duty again refused to refund the $2.99 and claimed that the figs were supposed to be dry, and if we didn't like them, we should put them in water. His total refusal to accept the fact that they had sold a poor product and be responsible for it was truly amazing. I held the figs out and let them drop onto the onto the counter like a small round brick or hockey puck which made a very audible "thump" at which point I suggested he could eat them and left. I have no idea if Jerry really knows what is going on in his store and how his family and his new generation of managers is treating customers. But it is certainly inconsistent with the way it has been in the past. He spent many years building up a fantastic and unique business and I fear that like so many businesses that are turned over to the kids they will just run it into the ground.

Not sure why I did not review yet. We had been shopping there for years. We do not mind driving there for 40 min although Uncle G is literally 5 min away. The prices and the freshness are unsurpassed, staff is knowledgeable (love the cheese lady!!!) and very helpful. They have a small corner with sugar-free products which is appreciated. We wish them to be successful for many more years - it will make us happy.

Great place por Italian specialties, plus a variety of cheeses, meats, wines etc. I miss the old days of tasting the goodies…but understand that for our safety is the best. They also have a huge deli with freshly made foods.
