Reading tutor munched on breakfast during SAT prep sessions…distracting and unprofessional. Zero growth, and for some reason, I had to request a new teacher. Why didn’t the director make that decision? Math teacher was good, though and represents the only star in this review. Find another source for SAT help.

I have the same feeling about this opinion (bottom ). In addition, they returned my money two months later that I have decided to move my child to better school where she is doing great. They returned the money without any email where the showed me the total hours that really my child did.this School does not have good reviews. Now I know whyDo not waste your money. This Huntington center is not effective. They do not tailor the tutoring to the individual student's needs. They have one program and if it doesn't work for your child they don't care. They assure you that you will get your desired results on standardized tests if you follow their program. That is not true. They did not even score the sample test taken after their sessions in their center until I went in to request the results. They did not use that test to determine weak spots and fix the issues. They tried to get me to pay more money for additional lessons a few days before the exam. Huge disappointment and director only cared about the money.

I was a student in this place and honestly it is so not worth it. You pay a lot of money but for what? Fundamentals, I am already fundamentally prepared I just needed to get ready for my SAT test. Is that so hard to teach? With how many teachers there are in that school I would think it is not that difficult. Now I go to a better school and cheaper at that. They teach me something new every day and even leave me work to practice at home to be able to get better at it. I take PSATs every Friday to get my progress and I can see results, unlike when I was in Huntington. I wasted my time, and money in that school. Parents don’t waste your money like my poor mother did.

My daughter has been coming to the Englewood Huntington Learning Center since October 2022. She was struggling with school and we didn't know what to do to help. She actually takes another class nearby and I stumbled on HLC while walking around. This center is nowhere near my home but it's absolutely worth the time and investment. In a few short months, my daughter went from struggling to feeling more confident with her school course load and even achieved second honors. All the tutors are thorough and thoughtful and really helped her grasp the school work she'd been having so much trouble with. Sending her to Huntington Learning Center is one of the best investments and decisions we ever made. And she continues to thrive. I am so grateful and appreciative of HLC and the staff. I would 100% recommend this to any parent with a child who's struggling with school.

My son learned well in Huntington because they taught him effectively and personalized each session to the individual you propose. Each subject is thoroughly studied to verify that you are capable of handling it and are prepared for it, depending on where you are heading. Teachers, employees, and administrators are friendly, professional, and informative.

We had my son take an HSPT prep class over the summer prior to 8th grade. Prior to taking the class, his test scores were not high enough to get into his top high school choice. I believe the course helped him get a high enough score to get a scholarship to his top choice.

Daughter attended classes here for 9 months. Very expensive and not particularly effective teaching methods.

The center was excellent. Staff was courteous and knowledgeable. We benefited a lot from the center.I had both my sons attend Huntington at their respective times. Englewood Huntington helped him a lot boosting his self confidence in education, and directing him to raise his GPA while in High School. He also attended Huntington for his SATs, and the experience paid off - Never would he be able to achieve such scores on his own!My younger son, inspired by experience of his older brother, attended Huntington as well. Again, the results were on par with expectations.On a personal note, I am impressed how quickly they adapted to COVID-19, offering a variety of online courses for students. I was really curious to see how they adapted, and started browsing the site, looking at what they were offering. Impressive indeed! Way to go, guys!
