“New, clean hotel, with essential services suitable for the frenetic life of New York. The strong point is the location, in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, one of the coolest areas, literally a stone's throw from the Empire State Building, Grand Central, Macy's, Bryant Park, and so on and so forth. The staff is friendly and available to satisfy any extra requests. A mention for the kindness of the housekeepers and the Grab & Go room attendant. The latter was much appreciated, at any time of the day it is possible to refresh yourself with a hot coffee. We will definitely recommend it to our friends and family for a trip to the big apple.”

Hotel in a good and safe location with good access to the city center by metro or train. Cleanliness and silence at a higher level. Chinatown, you feel like you have visited China, the atmosphere cannot be compared to Chinatown in Manhattan. I will also add that the hotel is very close to LaGuardia airport and also not far from JFK airport (20 minutes by Uber)Safety: Safe neighborhood”

“I took 1 star off the rooms, which were very nice, but so small for my husband who is in a wheelchair. Even the walker we use to get him a few steps proved challenging to use in the bathroom & to get him in the bed. Luckily we were only there 2 nights because there’s no way we could have worked around the challenges we faced for longer than that. The service we received was excellent, from check in to check out. It’s in a very convenient area for going to Broadway shows. I highly recommended Margaritaville Resort as great place to stay.”

49 W 44th St, New York“I stay here almost once or twice a month and love the staff and amenities and location. Thank you! The one problem i struggle with is the lack of coffee. No coffee maker in room, none available upon request, and the lobby coffee isn’t available until 7am, which is way too late. Your only option is to walk across street at 6am, which is also not attractive. If they can figure this out this may be the only hotel i stay in NYC from now on, otherwise i may need to find another place!”

242 W 76th St, Manhattan“Dear Wallace Hotel Team,
I recently booked a room at The Wallace Hotel for my parents, and I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for the exceptional experience they had.
From the moment they arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. The room was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and provided all the amenities they could have asked for. The location was perfect for exploring New York City, and they appreciated the quiet and comfort of the hotel after a busy day.
One highlight of their stay was the outstanding service provided by the staff. They went above and beyond to ensure my parents' comfort and satisfaction, making their stay truly memorable.
I would like to give a special thanks to Kira Santiago, the Assistant Director of Rooms, for her genuine care in ensuring my parents had the perfect stay. Kira's attention to detail and warm hospitality made a significant difference. She took the time to understand their needs and went out of her way to accommodate them. Whether it was arranging special amenities in their room or providing personalized recommendations for local attractions, Kira's efforts were truly appreciated.
Additionally, I want to acknowledge doormen Jaysean and Juan for their exceptional assistance and friendliness. Their warm greetings and helpfulness made my parents feel welcome every time they entered or left the hotel. They always had a smile on their faces and were ready to assist with anything my parents needed, from carrying luggage to providing directions.
I highly recommend The Wallace Hotel to anyone visiting the city and suggest stopping by the Wallace Lounge for live music and lovely cocktails. It’s a perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring.
Thank you for providing such a wonderful experience for my parents.

242 W 123rd St, New York“When we were searching for properties for our visit to New York this month, we were so surprised to find the Harlem Flophouse, due to its uniqueness and competitive price.
It came for us to arrive and straight away we knew we made the right choice. The interior was so unique and inspiring, that you felt you were being transported back to the past. The checking in process was simple and when we arrived to our room, Rene had made a hand written sign with my wife's name on it and when we entered the room, the radio was playing with jazz, that fitted perfectly.
The room was fantastic and the facilities were just what we needed for our stay and despite people having concerns about sharing a bathroom with other guests, there were no issues at all for us.
We even had the privilege of meeting Rene's cat who welcomed us home after a night out, who was very friendly and even showed us to our room too.
When we were leaving, we met Rene, who was as friendly and inviting as the property.
Overall, The Harlem Flophouse is a cool jewel set in New York and we will definitely be back and I encourage others to go there for the experience.

The meals were amazing, the staff were amazing, and seriously good mixologists at the bar. (We had guests ---- picky epicurean guests ---- and they were universally complimentary) Our niggles: just a few actually. The rooms are cute if a little small. Closet space is negligible. The elevators can be a little slow at peak times (and there is no way to go straight from room s to a street -- although that is probably a good idea in these times). The other niggle? The room rates! At some times, have your "heart medication" to hand and banker on speed sis to take out a second mortgage. ( Yes -- that expensive!) Other than those minor items? An urban gem!”

Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast room service is exceptional, dinner, not so much. At least what we ordered for dinner wasn't good. It was the fettuccine and suppose to be a white wine sauce if I remember correctly. The pasta tasted microwaved, and there was hardly any sauce. A better bet would be to go to the Italian restaurant downstairs for dinner, and the restaurant upstairs (where room service is from) for breakfast. We LOVED our French toast, potatoes and peppers, sausage, and berries. So so good. We ordered pastries the next morning and those were really good too. Housekeeping did a phenomenal job as well! We will be back :-)”

400 W 42nd St, New York“The hotel is close to Madison Square Garden and is in Hells Kitchen. The room "Koje Pod" is 10 square meters in size with a double bunk bed, shower, toilet. There are enough USB-2 ports for charging electronic devices. The view from the 11th floor is good, but the street noise is not blocked out through the windows. There is no classic breakfast buffet as we are used to in Europe. One tea, one muffin, one fruit salad = $17.45Safety: An in-room safe is available. The hotel room door can be locked from the inside. There are security guards in the lobby.Walkability: MSG can be reached on foot in 15 minutes.”

768 5th Ave, New York“"Never meet your heroes", they say. The basis of course is people and things rarely live up to the hype. The Plaza does. Kevin McAllister was right to hold up here over Christmas. The location itself is perfectly situated in both the heart of New York (Central Park) and businesses, big and small, within arm's reach. The building itself could have gone to the way of ancient ruins and lived on the memories of what was and not what is. Instead, the building itself has been immaculately preserved and, in our case, remodeled with a nod to its original glory. What is all this glory without service. There is no slippage there either. We got a sense of the bespoke experience before our trip, dealing with customer service by phone. From that point forward, we have been met with a constant expressions of attention to detail and service. I still don't know what our butler does but should the need ever arise, I know he's a push of a button away. I don't know if I could stay anywhere else in the city ever again.”

“Feels like the hotel and rooms have been recently renovated which is nice. Great location, friendly front desk, nice restaurant. A couple things to note: 1) if you have a king next to a suite or a suite, these are setup in a L shape so you can see into the adjacent rooms, 2) walls are very thin, 3) housekeeping isn’t the most on top of things. There are misses even when the front desk explicitly sends the feedback. For example, they left a dirty coffee cleaner with water still in the canister and never cleaned it”

“My wife and I had High Tea at the Whitby. The bar area where we had tea was quite nice. We had drinks at the bar while waiting for our table. The bartender was attentive and spot on with our drinks. Kudos. The only downside, we waited an extra 20 mins past our reservation time. When I asked a staff member about the wait, she acknowledged what I said, then continued to fold napkins. WTH! I then talked to the hostess who apologized and immediately got us seated. Tea was great, the service at tea was also great, but the napkin folder was ridiculous...New York City, what are you gonna do?”
“The hotel is located at a very close proximity to the major tourist attractions in New York City. You can reach places like Times Square or Empire State Building within 12-15 minutes walking. There are number of eateries suitable for vegan, Muslims and Jews with plenty of options . One can also find 24/7 dining options around. The hotel itself is cozy, staff especially in the night shift and concierge is extremely helpful. Rooms provide a comfortable staying options and room rates are much better as compared to other names in the vicinity. There is a decent restaurant and bar inside the hotel if one fancy dining in. The place is highly recommended. The only irritant is a non responsive general manager and automated emails but despite that it’s a good place to stay. They have fixed rate airport transfer which is better than Uber else the subway is only a 7 minutes walk. Happy to assist if you need any further information”

They are on point with all details and it’s absolutely stunning. Fun crowd in the main and restaurant bar, great service and fun ambiance. The hotel has bikes out front a cart to Bergdorf’s. I’ve had dinner here before and both experiences were stellar. Love the outside seating area and terrace too. Oh and you can get your hair done,”

“From the time we had checked in, the reception staff members were as courteous as anyone can be and we were greeted with a great smile. We slept well feeling pleasant. In the morning, the custodial staff were greeting us with a smile as we went down stairs to the restaurant. Our party had the breakfast buffet and every single restaurant staff were so great to our family that we couldn’t feel any more pleasant from our visit to Crowne Plaza Englewood. Thank you to everyone at this wonderful hotel.”
