“The only reason I'm giving this place a 5 star is because only ONE person went out of their way to help us and his name is Asher. We had a little issue, which I will admit the lovely gentleman and woman helped us at the self checkout, or attempted to, but somehow our transaction was voided in the event of them trying to help us obtain digital coupons, but I was advised that it's okay, we can pack up our stuff in the mean time, which my husband did, and then we tried to checkout with this gentleman at the self checkout. Our transaction was voided and the response from the employees were i'm sorry you have to rescan. How INCONVENIENT - We've been shopping here for years, there should be another way for you to help check out customers instead of asking us(after you've informed us to start packing up our things), and we're talking about BAGS of items. I go to customer service in which one woman was very quick to tell me "oh well you're just going to have to rescan", anyways nonetheless. Thank you to Asher at Customer Service for helping us, and ultimately checking us out very quickly, kindly and efficently. Hopefully Shoprite recognizes employees like this.”
